they knew Biden was old and unfit but tried to mask it. Pelosi and others should have pulled the trigger last year and demanded an open primary.
hindsight is 20/20.
in other news, where is the best place for a golden passport these days?

inflation is worse in Germany, I would go to South America, Columbia is nice, a luxury apartment in Cartagena costs around 1k a month, food is 1/5 the price, and you can fly anywhere in the country for $35.

and if would have been out and the dems had a real primary, I'm guessing Harris wouldn't have won.
Also his "garbage" line hurt her.
But her in ability to separate herself at all from Biden and his policies was her main undoing, given his approval rating of ~40%.
She wasn't a good candidate. I can't figure out why she ran the campaign that she did...avoiding tough interviews (until too late) and not having any coherent policy positions that different at all from Biden. Assuming she had good staff, it has to be that they didn't think, and she didn't think, that she was up to the challenge.
I didn't care for any of her assumed/inherited positions, but she did almost nothing substantive on policy.
