Heard from a coot manager that he freaked out a couple of times on Lorenzo Ward for playing him on too many series. He only wants to play on third downs and late in the game. Spurrier is bending over on this one cause threatened to leave coot U and train on his own while taking a paycheck from an agent. attending classes is apparently off the table too...

It wouldn't shock me. Clowney is about Clowney, not the team. All he cares about is the paycheck coming his way from the NFL.
I don't say that as a slight to SCAR. He'd be that way at any school he went to.

I'm basing it on the times Clowney has said or implied he can't wait to get out of college and go pro.
Its not surprising for someone in his position (Likely top 5, possibly number 1 pick) to feel that way. But you can't express those feelings while in college with teammates listening. It's bad for morale. And it shows he doesn't really want to be in college, he'd rather be getting a paycheck in the pros.

He's kind of a one trick pony. He's very good at that trick, but he won't be much of a factor in games against running teams.
And I'd be shocked if he has been attending many classes the past two years. Wonder if he can stay eligible for a bowl game. Maybe he doesn't care.

him and he was huffing and puffing by the midway point of the 2nd qtr. You can use the Michigan game as an example too, even though the coots won. The reason Michigan nearly beat the coots was because they ran right at him the whole game. Until that one hit that caused the fumble, Clowney did virtually nothing the whole game.

if that's the case, why did we not run right at him? I assume we had game film of the coots game against lsu. I remember him playing almost the whole game against us. I read an article yesterday in yahoo sports that said he was 275 and ran a 4.5 forty. guys even for a coot that is very good. imo he will be even better this year because he has that extra year of experience. the yahoo sports article was saying teddy bridgewater would be the number one pick.

A franchise QB is valued over a defensive end. But that being said I think Clowney is more likely to have the better career if they were to suit up for NFL teams tomorrow. Bridgewater is a great QB and unless something crazy happens he won't fall out of the top 3-5 picks. I could see him and Clowney going 1 and 2 in some order.

This is nothing new. Clowney took 90% of the Michigan game off, got the fortune of one lucky missed block, and then ESPN, the SEC, and coot nation have been j*zzing all over themselves watching his hit on instant replay ever since.

The burden of proof should come from the original accuser. I don't think he knows any manager of any football team. By the way, you do know there are no position coaches with the players at this time. I'm calling BS, if the op can give a better source than a made up aquaintance, then I'm all ears.

I'm pretty sure if Clowney did anything out of the normal there would be a break in your TV program with a Special Report on it! ESPN would be in meltdown mode with so many reports on it. Just my thinking!

if he goes number 1 or 2 in the draft and handles his money wisely, he like nuke, will never have to work again. I understand you want to say you graduated and accomplished something in getting an education, but a big reason for getting an education is to provide you a means to make a living. I think going in the top of the nfl will do that. I bet most of you, if you have children, would love for them to be in his position as a means to earn that much money. just my opinion. and so far he has stayed out of trouble and brought much recognition to usce. I know a lot of us would like to see him not play against us and get into trouble, but oh well! let win with him playing and make it sweeter.

except at coot media days he gets to stay in fancy hotel room, stuff his face with shrimp cocktails, avoid classes, and sleep in late. So basically this a normal a normal day for Clowney, just that he gets to leave Columbiass for the weekend.

Boy, you are one bitter dude. You really should retract you original statement. You don't know any mgrs of any football team. You never heard this from anyone at all. You probably heard it on 560 radio in Cola. as a rumor, just like everyone else. When people are scared or they feel defeated they tend to make up crap about someone to make them feel better about themselves. By the way, for a guy that doesn't work out or train, he sure has gotten a lot bigger and stronger since being in Columbia. If I were Tajh, I would be scared too.
