They'll be kicking themselves wondering how they lost to SCU in the first game.
Take a look at Pitt's schedule to begin the season and what they have coming up after Syracuse. I think they may end up only winning 1 more game after Syracuse.

Duke or UNC would be the best case because ND plays Pitt, so that would give one of those two opponents a loss.
I am pulling for Duke at the moment to win out and be about #12-15. Their loss to NW is better than UNCs loss to SC, and they are in a better starting position in the polls.

Pitt plays both NC and Duke...they win both they are in. I agree it will be a PITT/ Clemson Final.

The Notre Dame vs. Pitt game will have no bearing on the ACC though.
The coastal will come down to UNC, Duke, or Pitt. All are undefeated in ACC play so far.

They could be 12-0 and people wouldn't give a team a lot of credit for beating them because of the perception of the program. Even though UNC lost to SCU, they're still a little more respected than Duke.

if Fedora weren't a complete #######.
But they have the best talent in the Coastal, and are playing really well. They also pose the biggest challenge to us b/c they can score and they would have significant # of fans in the stadium.
Swoffie is prolly making some calls to Ron Cherry to help this happen so the ACC can sell some CG tickets.
