Clemson vs Bama

I truly hope this game happens. I see this as a favorable matchup for Clemson. Bama is very prone to leaving guys open down the field and just like FSU they run almost nothing but man coverage which is why they struggle against athletic qbs(ie Watson).
Bamas offense would be a problem, but only if Clemson plays like they did in the first half against FSU. Henry and that OL are very good, but coker is a huge liability I could see him throwing a couple picks, he got lucky against LSU a few times.
This game would be a huge peepee kick to ESPN.

My nerves would wreck just watching that matchup honestly...I've wrecked my nerves during the notre dame and FSU Game. Honestly I'm hoping Mississippi State or Auburn beats them before the regular season comes to an end.

The Notre Dame game wasn't that nerve wrecking for me. It's more like frustration over the conservative playcallings (but understandable considering the weather condition).
All was good at the end though.

They are a run it down your throat offense , solid line and some decent play action comes off of it . Clemson would load it up , and our DLine is as good as anyone's DLine that they have faced , including Ole Misses. I like our chances . We would be a good game for sure ...I'd pay big money to see that one .

Bama struggles with the spread offense. However, I would like to see Bama's running game against Clemson's defense.

Saban tried to ban our style of offense and their secondary is trash. 'Nuff said.

We learned from this FSU game to not try playing a great back straight up,instead stack the line and let those secondary studs we have handle their on business. We do this we'll stop Henry and Bama

Saban came out and said to ESPN that he doesn't like the spread and tempo offenses and doesn't want to see football turn into that. I believe that is a quote sometime after Texas A&M beat them.
I truly believe FSU has a better RB than Bama. Yes we had problems for 1 quarter and then BV talked to the Defense and got with the Linebackers to make sure they hit the right gaps and that took care of that.
I think we are the matchup that is least favorable to Bama. I also think OSU is a bad match up for Bama as they have extremely mobile quarterbacks and run a tempo offense. I hate OSU as much as the next guy but found it funny when they beat Bama last year.
The problem I have with Bama is they lost to a 3 loss Ole Miss Team that is not in the Top 25 at home and get moved up to Number 4. How are they ahead of Notre Dame who lost to us at home in a very close game (even though I think we would beat ND by 3 TDs if we played now).
I also hate the way the SEC is positioning LSU and Florida. It took Florida to have Vandy punt it only 12 yards and then they had to kick a 45 yard FG even though they got the ball way in plus territory to beat a HORRIBLE Vandy team at home. Vandy didnt even try to pass it and tried to hang on to a 7-6 lead from halftime. How do they only drop one spot to #11? That is not a team just outside the top 10 with their quality win being Ole Miss.
Watch LSU who ranks like 117 in passing offense jump up to around number 6 after beating whoever they play next because the ESPN investment into the SEC Network is going to do everything they can to try and get a team (or two) in the CFP.
I hope that Bama loses and LSU each lose again and FSU takes out Florida. I would love to see two 2 loss teams in the SEC championship game.
Sprry for getting a bit OT guys. I am fine with Alabama when they earn their ranking but and sick of tired of them getting a mulligan or two during the season. Bama fans keep saying well Bama had 5 turnovers against Ole Miss which is the only reason they lost. I am sorry but do turnovers not count as part of the game in Bama???

I told a buddy of mine who is a HUGE Alabama fan the same thing. He told me Derrick Henry would run down Clemson's throat. He said you couldnt stop Cook, you definitely not stopping Henry. I told him this big running backs are a lot easier than those shifty ones. Henry would get hit in the back field constantly he might break a few tackles here and there but Clemson for the most part gang tackles. Cook was a problem because that kid has the best vision of all of those running backs and could stop and start on a dime. Henry is not Cook.

This is subjective but I truly believe Cook is the best running back in the nation. He is both powerful, has incredible body control, great football instincts (see the stiff arm on his TD run), and has a 2nd gear that is faster than any other running back in the nation.
I will give Alabama credit as they do a lot of passing on 1st down to open up the running game for Henry. However, Alabama seems to keep the same game plan. They come out passing and then go to Henry on a lot of dives, counters, and draws and try to get him the ball when he has 1 on 1 coverage with Linebackers as a receiver.
However, I would much rather try to stop Henry than Cook. I am sure Henry would have some good runs against us but I bet BV would also mix up the defenses and get a lot of carries for losses which is something Alabama has a lot of already.
The Heisman is not given to the best player in college football. It is given to the player who the media deems is the best team. Despite us being number 1 in almost every poll, all the talking heads keep talking about how good Bama is. They would have done the same thing for Fournette has LSU won the game against Bama. AS bas as ESPN is, CBS is worse. They only have the right to their one SEC game a week and two when Bama and LSU play and their announcers want to hand out the Heisman to trophy to the player in "their league" as their own announcers have said many times themselves.
I say bring Bama on. I am happy playing either Bama, OSU, or whoever else is still standing.

Yes Dabo did and while Dabo may be the first person Bama calls when Saban is getting ready to retire, it has no relevance on Bama getting Mulligans.
Bama has beaten a LSU Team ranked 117 in pass offense. They stacked the line and refused to let LSU run the ball. That is good play calling and exactly what BV would do if we played LSU.
However, It does not change the fact that Bama lost to an unranked Ole Miss team with our 5th string Quarterback. Imagine how well our 1st string QB (DW) would do against Bama.
Bama has a great history and deserves all the praise for all their championships. However, the BCS (BS being key initials) era showed the ESPN/ABC/CBS SEC bias such as putting Bama and LSU in a rematch to make sure they won a NC and also giving LSU and UF championshoip games when they lost their last games of the season.
The 4 team CFP is better but their is way too much interest in money with the ESPN SEC Network and CBS Contract with the SEC. CBS literally begged for Auburn to get in the championship game a few years ago after they beat Alabama and said they may not be deserving but they had improved the most. Fortunately, FSU took care of them for the nation.
The bottom line is that Bama's best victory was over a 1 dimensional LSU team and LSU's best Victory was over a 1 loss UF team that took a near miracle for them to beat bottom feeder Vandy at home yet they are still ranked #11. They are doing this so UF is ranked high enough to where they can put them in the playoffs if they beat Bama/LSU in the SEC Championship game. I believe the SEC Network might go bankrupt if an SEC Team did not make it into the playoffs.
