I have said it multiple times on this board. Have no sources but it makes much more sense than the SEC based on Clemson’s value to the new conference

So, you think that the SEC will sit idle and allow the Big10 to just move right into their area where the ACC is taking up space also. Like I said, it ain't going to happen in this lifetime!!!

The ratings for the Clemson-UGA game will prove that "more B1G value" wrong. The country couldn't care less about watching Clemson-Rutgers; Clemson-Indiana: Clemson-Northwestern; Clemson-Iowa etc.

Put nicely, use your head for something other than a hat rack. Nobody cares about Clemson -Bottom Tier SEC either. The SEC has way more top tier teams/matchups than the BIG. They also have our viewing area covered. The BIG needs both top tier matchups and our market therefore we are more valuable to the BIG. Not to mention, FOX wants to stick it to ESPN.
We bring plenty to the BIG but not much to the SEC which they don’t already have.

I think Clemson-Rutgers would do better in the ratings than Clemson-Mississippi State or Vandy. More B1G programs have delusions of adequacy.

can the SEC offer a direct path into the AAU? Do they have the BTAA research fund that is worth tens of billions?
This is about way more than college football. Some of you need to understand that. Clemson can parlay a move to the B1G in athletics into a MAJOR step for the academic side.

There are member schools who are very hard parked on the AAU certification. It could still happen if they could get those schools to turn but it is far from a short putt.

Nebraska is not AAU, so it’s not a 100% given, plus the new initiative to up research is potentially a step to AAU.

They were AAU when they joined and lost that certification and now are fighting to get it back because there is pressure to drop them if they don't. No school has been invited to join without it.

I think B10 will take FSU and Clemson. We will see.
They are plenty of really good teams in Big and they fill there stadium. I have no problem being in the Big.

I agree I think the sec lovers are really undervaluing those matchups. I care nothing about playing Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and miss state in anything. #### throw the chickens in there to. I would leave them in the dust as well.

I'd rather watch Clemson- Arkansas, Miss St. Ole Miss, Vandy any day of the week over the snore fest ACC BC, Syracuse, Pitt, Duke.

I agree that was in response to sec vs B1G. I’m firmly in the B1G camp. It’s the best choice for the school and athletics alike.
