Agreed. It's been a long time since Clemson looked that bad. I think it was all on the coaches and lack of preparation with the open week. Now that I think about it Dabo's coaching staff had a summer to prepare for Duke in the season opener a few years back and it was pretty bad then too.

I have been trying really hard to suppress the memory of this game, but the nightmare of our clock management (lack thereof) was worse than any falling-off-a-cliff nightmare, and even worse than the showing-up-to-work-in-my-underwear nightmare.

I have been trying really hard to suppress the memory of this game, but the nightmare of our clock management (lack thereof) was worse than any falling-off-a-cliff nightmare, and even worse than the showing-up-to-work-in-my-underwear nightmare.
Almost seemed like the boys thought they could just turn it on whenever they wanted to get back in the game. Super frustrating to see them so casual with no sense of urgency in the second half like wtfffff.
We deserved the punch in the mouth that night. Hope we redeem ourselves and lay down a whoopin in the process.

The answer is Clemson was an undefeated 8-0 before last years loss to Louisville.
Not to be outdone , Ken Hatfield was the first Clemson coach to lose to Virginia after having won 29 straight against the Cavaliers

They cut our defensive line time after time after time after time, and we never adjusted. Also got Peter woods hurt from which he never recovered.
