They're still in the ACC Tournament (headed to the semi finals vs UNC on Friday), but that big win against #9 Duke secures their spot in the NCAAT for the first time ever (in only 3 years).
Only 29 teams go to the NCAAT for women's lacrosse and 15 of those are conference tournament champions. With only 14 at large spots open, and especially with 6-7 coming from the ACC, the premier league in women's lacrosse, it's hard to get a spot. We've been on the cusp the last 2 years, but this year WE ARE IN!

Alexa Spallina is going to be special to watch. When she teams up with Macleod and Goldstein, we can seriously challenge for a natty.
Kayla MacLeod was so happy. These ladies are special. Semi-finals with unc next. Time for us to take down another #1.

Lex will be fantastic and a QB we've needed to compliment Goldstein. I'm excited about Emma Penczek. She's the all around threat that will end up being our leading scorer of all time.

Good to see the Tigers bounce back from that 12-11 regular season loss to Duke on Saturday March 8th at the Clemson Lacrosse Complex,a game they led throughout but then let the Blue Devils come back in the last couple of minutes to get the win and the Tigers even jumped out to a early 4-0 lead too.

This is fun isn't HORRY. Got a little dicey when they charged out of half and made it 8-6. Our D was relentless and Duke was frustrated because it didn't matter what their D did, we busted it... probably our best game of the year. Did you drive up to see it? Sure wish I could had... but I had my Clemson lax tee on though.
