I was looking at the roster yesterday and only counted 3 Rivals 5 star prospects. They were Klubnik, Leigh,and Woods. During the 15 to 20 run we had anywhere from 10 to 14 five star players on the roster.

Didn't we have 3 or 4 5 star QBs on the roster at the same time one of those years? But only one can be on the field so that makes a difference and all but one transferred.

I think the defense talent is close but way far behind on offense. They really missed on O line talent even though some were 4 stars. They just haven't developed.

Even further back than that. Was watching a game from 2011 and we had Boyd at QB, Allen at TE and Watkins, Hopkins and Martavis Bryant at WR and this was before we really became a football power. We will never see that kind of talent on the field at the same time for us again I'm afraid, at least not on offense.

Looking back Morris had a lot more talent to work with than Riley did.

One of the few threads on the board where it appears someone actually saw the game yesterday. We had no rushing attack nor run blocking whatsover and most of our first team lineman were overmatched going against anyone on the two deep D line. I mostly watched the tackle play but they were pouring through the interior of both lines as well. FWIW they loaded up the Orange team with mostly O line starters and WR starters. The defenses appeared to be evenly split. Have faith in Matt Luke but the spring game OL performance showed no improvement.
