Clemson needs to practice hitting ping pong balls with a cutoff broom stick. Will teach them hand eye coordination and how to hit the ceter of the ball. I had a coach that this over 50 years ago and I used it when I coached Little League. Believe me it want hurt.

Hopefully this is just one of those mid season funks they are going thru and they will pick it back up soon where hitting becomes contagiously good again like it was during the 17-1 start

It’s laughable that a top 10 team has so many holes at the plate and on the mound.

Yes they have to become better at the plate to make any noise in the postseason . Watching Louisville and Indiana and all 9 Louisville hitters are 300 or better .

The Tigers left 12 on base but did score 10. That means getting on base wasn’t the issue, but making good contact sure could improve when they have guys in scoring position. I think this team needs to admit the power ball isn’t there. So far not impressed with these Marucci bats. Swinging for line drive singles and doubles would do them some good. Last night there were some instances of swinging to beat the shift so maybe they will play a bit more small ball to score runs.

Not a coot or moron. I have attended Clemson baseball fir 52 years and season ticket holder of 6 seats and 200 miles from Clemson. So you are satisfied with our hitting.
