To get into the Playoffs.
That said, there has never been a more unpredictable college football season. Anybody can beat anybody and we can’t take any opponent lightly.
When the 12 team playoffs begins it’s going to feel like March Madness. I’m actually excited about it already.
Let’s go Tigers one game at a time. 🐅

I tend to agree. If Miami gets past Louisville this week, the rest of the path isn't very daunting. Maybe their rivalry game with FSU creates a bit of worry but I don't think it will be that close.
Our next 4 games after Wake will be a pretty good test for us. Those teams are collectively 15-6 and 2 of those games are on the road.

I was bad mouthing FSU big time past week, and they still suck, but they addressed one big problem, quarterback.
Brock Glenn is not fantastic. But He is a whole lot better than DJU.
Brock Glen might be an average quarterback by the time FSU plays Miami. That’s good news for FSU.
FSU has averaged 15 points a game up to right now. My guess is the rest of the season they can probably average more.

That is a non-issue. If the get to the ACCCG undefeated, they can lose that game and still comfortably make the playoffs.

Miami has lost the last two games and were bailed out by the zebras...Miami makes too many game costing mistakes, bailing out will fail at some point...they have a good QB and one Renfrow clone! The last two wins are telltale signs!

While I tend to agree we do, there's a lot football left. But we have less conference games left. Our schedule gets propped up with Pitt being undefeated but it took a miracle last minute TD to beat west va. We'll know more about them in a couple weeks. I predict by the time we play them, they'll have several losses.
Miami has 6 conference games left to play which includes Louisville, dook, GA Tech, and cuse. Which is not daunting. But most would probably agree Miami has 2 very questionable wins. We should breeze through any team we play or potentially would play. I think the acc championship game is Clemson/SMU - which would help us immensely with our newfound fertile recruiting ground Texas.

You could be right about Clemson vs. SMU in the ACC title game. I don't trust Miami agaist Syracuse and Louisville on the road. that Cal game showed us a lot.

Miami will lose to Syrace and Louisville on the road. The Cal and VA Tech games were strong indicators.

I think Ohio ST has the easiest path. Little competition in the B10 but get the ratings bump plus tons of money

I agree about the bump but no one left of Miami schedule could any of the top 6 teams in the BIG. Then you throw in the ACC replay booth trying their best to keep them undefeated and try and get 2 acc teams in playoffs and I don’t see them losing.

Not an Ohio state fan. But they’ve got Oregon, Penn state, Indiana and Michigan. Harder than any single Game on our schedule almost.
So don’t post stupid crap just bc we hate them

Don’t forget about SMU. They have a pretty easy path as well.
SMU may give the ACC 3 teams in the top 15 if all can run the table.

The Va Tech game at Blacksburg is going to be tough. They have a good QB and have played better of late.

Totally Agree, and their OT loss at vandy obviously isn't as laughable as it was opening week. 3 pt loss to Rutgers isn't as bad as once thought. Rutgers took it to Washington and lost to a rising Nebraska team by a TD or they'd be undefeated. VT lost a very questionable miami game (in my mind they won).

I think Miami’s is tougher. They are at Louisville while we play them at home but we play @ v tech @ Pitt 22
They play @ g tech @ Syracuse
V tech hasn’t been great but look for them to continue to improve because of their experience and chemistry…. Of course we both play other games as well but those are the 3 toughest left.

Clemson needs to keep the gas pedal on the floor against Pitt and Va Tech on the road. Wes Goodwin needs to become a better DC.

I think of ACC teams with 1 loss or less in conference, SMU has the easiest path. They have road games against Stanford, Duke and VA left, and get Pitt, BC and Cal at home.
Then the next easiest is Miami, with road games against Louisville, GaTech, and Syracuse, home games are FSU, Duke, and Wake.
Then comes Clemson with road games at Pitt, Wake, and VaTech, home against VA, Louisville, Citadel and Coots.
Then Pitt has three tough teams on their schedule, Clemson, SMU, Louisville
Then Louisville has Clemson, Miami, Pitt, with BC, Kentucky and VA on the road
Rationale: None of the first three (SMU, Miami, Clemson) play each other. Road games are usually the hardest and Clemson has the best teams out of these, having to play Pitt, VaTech and Wake on the road. Clemson has to play Louisville at home.
My projected regular season win totals overall for the remaining teams:
Clemson 11 (0 loss ACC) SMU 11 (0 loss ACC) Miami 11 (1-2 losses ACC) Possible losses are Louisville, FSU, GaTech VaTech 8 (2 losses ACC) Pitt 9 (3 losses ACC) Louisville 8 (2-3 losses ACC) Duke 7 (5 losses ACC)
