2024 Clemson Defense ranked 11th in ACC in total yards given up per game (374.1), 4th in passing yards given up per game (213.5), 15th in rushing yards given up per game (160.6), and 6th in points given up per game (23.4).

Rushing Defense may need some work. I see said the blind man.

The stat for the pass defense (4th in ACC) can be deceiving- why would teams throw against a team that they can run against with impunity?

But 15th in rushing yards per game. Only FSU was worse. This means ole Wes is awful. Yes, we have a talent issue, but in what world should be behind Cal, Stanford, WF, BC you name thie others in rushing defense. This alone should call for an immediate change at DC. This DC hire is a big part of the talent issue drop-off. High level players are not playing for Wes Goodwin. The words out and this is being used against Clemson in recruiting. Hite a name and watch it change quickly. That's how it works.

Almost every starter on our entire front 7 was a 4 or 5 star so we are either not developing players or our scheme is terrible. Either way that's on the coaches.

A long guys seem to be out of position and out of their gaps. There’s really no other way a team can break off so many long runs against a team with even somewhat comparable speed and talent.
