That was one of the coolest things ever and a recruiting pitch worth its weight in gold ten times over, not just for baseball but for all our sports, University and town as a whole.

It was an amazing night full of energy and the CU boys had so much FUN! Great way to wrap up fall ball
before heading to Tuscalossa today to take on BAMA tomorrow.
They announced that there were people there from 49 states?!? RV lot was full, kids dressed up like the players and knew all of the songs and dances.
I will say, I'm not sure I need to go to another Banana game. Might be a little too stimulating, but everyone needs to experience at least once.

The differences b/t them and the Trotters is that it is a "real" game. They do play the same team every time - the Savannah Bananas vs the Party Animals, but unlike the Trotters, the Party Animals win frequently, so it is a real competition. Another big difference is it's its own game with its own rules. Bananaball is the actual sport. The rules make it a much more fun and entertaining game, and a lot faster.
I really enjoyed watching the game last night. Loads of fun, but to see how much fun our guys were having was the best part. Several of them said that this was the most fun they'd ever had, and I can believe it!
