Watching the replay .
Kendrick was beyond bad. Spiers punting was terrible.
Skalski was in Burrows head going into the half. Kicked out for spearing late in the 3rd quarter. Clemson was only down 3 at the time. We weren’t on our game.

I watched the 2015 Orange Bowl this afternoon. "Only" a playoff game, but that one was fun to rewatch.

Who does that for the National Championship at the elite college level??
We were doomed despite the talent we had.
I never felt good about that situation once I heard where we were forced to practice. There was no hunger in that.

I’m convinced some of the team had COVID then. New Orleans was an early hotspot and if I remember correctly Dabo was under the weather. Two months later the US shut down.

Always thought I would like to attend a game @ LSU….after the game with them in2020, no more. Their fans make going to Athens seem like a picnic.

I don’t care what anyone says, we got screwed when we had to play a true playoff game versus Ohio State when LSU was gifted an easy playoff game.
Undefeated national champions coming off dragging the so called best team ever in the natty the year prior, had to play in a war against Ohio state just to get there in 2019.
TLaw took several headshots vs Ohio State and was not himself versus lsu. It was the perfect stars aligning for LSU.
2018 Clemson will always be the best CFP era team imho. 2019 was not as good due to missing several players who went to nfl but was capable of beating LSU with healthy Trevor and not losing defensive leader Skalski. All that considered we still could’ve just ran the dang ball!

Always pulled for LSU and would have probably considered them my favorite SEC team and couldn’t wait to visit out there.
I think being in Nola just ratcheted everything up a notch but they were beyond terrible to deal with. Getting cussed out by random passerbys, people coming up and shoving us in our seats after an LSU TD, it was just ridiculously hostile.

They had 2 elite WRs in chase and Jefferson who is arguably the best wr in the league but I don’t think chase is the 2nd best as of now. Kupp, Hill, Diggs, are better WRs then chase as of now but they did have 2 very elite WRs. Go Clemson Tigers!!
