I know I am stating the obvious, but while watching today’s game it’s clear these are some top tier baseball teams. I could see both making it to Omaha if things go their way. Wake can absolutely mash the baseball.

We've got to get our bats going a little more. Wake has bats and arms. Fortunately our arms are getting healthy.
Cam needs to heat up. He's had flashes of being back. But we need a Seth. Feel like we were led to believe priest was that guy. Same with bisetta. He had a fantastic summer. We need that bisetta.
Ciufo? Yeah, he's that good at short, but weaker than half the pitchers with the bat. But, that said, I'd rather peak in June.

Need a Seth? Beer had multiple moments but Cam is way more clutch than Beer…. Beer really didn’t do much his last 2 years. Monte ruined him in college and he hurt himself by going from 195 to 220 for his sophomore year and he was slow…… Beer had a few big bombs and that’s it. Cam all day

Oh no, if that's the way it was taken, my apologies. Cam is 10 times more valuable than Seth. Perhaps a poor reference on my part. I was merely saying we need That Guy who pitchers respected because he'd avg hitting a dinger every other game (20-22) BA 350 ish. That we could put in the 4 to 6 hole. From the hype pre-season, Priest was that guy. From the stats last summer, Bisetta was That Guy. Unfortunately, just hasn't materialized yet.

Pitchers definitely respect Cam, which is WHY he is off to a slower start. He isn't getting anything good to hit, so he is chasing and really trying to force things at the plate. Even with that he is still hitting over .300, so that says a lot. When Beer was here, pitchers eventually realized he couldn't hit a backfoot slider and he struggled to hit .290.
But regardless, until we find someone to hit behind and protect him. Pitchers are just going to throw him junk. I think they should swap him and Purify, but I trust Coach B.

Absolutely right. I think they are the type team that would probably win two out of three in their building. I think we need3d a couple of these types of game and will help in the long run.
