A November to remember.
If you've all been paying attention the last 15 years. A Dabo coached team has always improved throughout the season and played its best ball late in the year. There have been exceptions throughout the years but overall this team every year just gets better and better from the start of the season. We are seeing that now.
This is a sign of a good/great coach. Teams that never progress, or degress throughout a season are usually the ones who go looking for new coaches and never win championships.
Clemson is a championship caliber program built by Dabo. We won one last year (ACC) we wont get the opportunity this year but more is on the way. Guaranteed!

I hate it for the super seniors and upperclassmen.
but they simply cannot play at the level of the underclassmen.
i wish that the seniority loyalty thing would have died sooner this season, but oh well.

Last season was the first time I'd seen the end of the year run die off and it was weird. It made me hesitant to lean on what we were typically good at previously (being a juggernaut by November).
Seeing this stretch is super encouraging. Still gotta go out and do it this weekend and next but I'm feeling more confident in the team for sure.

2020 - Lost to LSU
2021 - Lost to Ohio State
2022- "glorious" Cheezit Bowl win versus Iowa State
2023 - Lost to Tennessee
Mix in 2 losses to ND and an embarassing loss to our rival to end a 30+ game home win streak.
Those are just facts.

the history books disagree with me, of course . . . but if you go back and watch that game, LSU got away with murder on the offensive line. I'm not talking the normal "sour grapes"/"I hate the refs" business . . . no, I mean the rules were simply ignored to LSU's benefit on holding that kept Joe Burrow alive in the pocket and it lead to somewhere between 17 to 21 LSU points. That outcome was an outright fraud. It ought not be recognized. LSU . . . **NOT** 2019 National Champions.**

There IS something to be said for improvement. But the implicit sweeping under the rug of the ineptitude in the first month of the season is off-putting.

I felt from the beginning that breaking in a new starting QB and a new offense was going to be risky. You are always at the mercy for how long transitions like that can take. I think we all hoped it would be smooth and easy but it has taken longer and been harder than anyone anticipated. To your point, the thing you want to see is progress and we have certainly seen that in the second half of the season. Confidence grows with experience and those two seem to have finally intersected.
I'm going to enjoy the rest of the ride this year and look for a significant step up next year. The future is still bright.

Not saying you’re wrong in your opinions, but what are you using to substantiate “worse” in those Novembers? A loss, or the month as a whole?
Regardless, if you’ve been watching this team over Dabo’s tenure, it’s a fair point to say we typically play better in November. Dabo has always preached peaking at this time of year. This is ‘shaping up to be’ to be another of those Novembers. Don’t you want to see what could be another tremendous turnaround? We have a three huge games ahead of us. Just think if we keep moving forward with these incremental steps we’re seeing. Is it okay to very optimistic?
We could really set a tone for the future of the program, which we already know is bright.
These seasons are over before you know it. Instead of playing devils advocate with every facet of positivity, let’s all get excited and appreciative to play these last few games. Go Tigers!
