Yep. Went with a 3 man rush and dropped 8. He disguises so well it confuses QBs.

Dropping 8 can work when you’re in constant fear of getting the ball out of your hands due to anticipating pressure

Fair enough. When the lights have been bright, he has show elite arm talent. But to your point, not the most consistent QB and hasn’t always played well if you go back to his first year with Texas where he had a tendency to throw high.
