That the FBI cannot conclusively say that Donald Trump was grazed by a bullet is an embarrassment.

There’s speculation that he was struck by shards of glass (“shrapnel”, as some refer to it) from a nearby teleprompter being struck by a bullet. Not a bomb. Good lord.
Nobody has actually seen or reported on the injury, to my knowledge. I would think people of any political stripe should be interested in why, but I also get that the cache of being hit by glass from a bullet hitting something else rather than an actual bullet is detrimental to the superhero persona the MAGA crowd is now married to. And it’s also quite clear that if forensics from the FBI conclude the former, you won’t believe it, because Deep State and such.

From where did glass shards come? Both teleprompters were intact after the shots. How is a glass shard going to hit the side of his head facing to the rear? There’s no teleprompter behind him. What about the photo showing the bullet streak?

The simplest explanation is still that Trump was struck by a bullet in/on his ear. But it's curious that there haven't been any official reports, from intelligence agencies, SS, attending physicians, etc. That's all. And that's quite literally all Wray indicated as well.
There's a whole lot of detail from that day about the event and the shooter himself that are still pure speculation, because we don't have official reports. And, as I indicated above, with the exceptionally dumb place we're currently at in American politics, narratives have already been created, so whichever side doesn't like the content of the official reports will predictably decry it as false propaganda from the Deep State.

A doctor that examined him confirmed it was consistent with a bullet wound
And there was a confirmed shooter that fired 8 bullets from a rifle at him from a clear 150 yards out
Even a picture of a bullet wizzing by him
