Chris Rumph on staff came from the Minnesota

Vikings was former DC for Steve Spurrier at
SC when they beat us 5 times in a row. He played linebacker for S.C. He also was on staff at Alabama as LB coach. Do you think Rumph and WRs end up being Co DC with Wes back in the booth? Think about it.

No, he was not with Spurrier at SC when they beat us 5 times in a row. He was actually here with us for until 2010, and then went to Bama, and then bounced around a lot. He's a guy who excels as a position coach, not so much as a DC.

Lorenzo Ward was the coot DC***

Yep, Ward is a Clemson Analyst, played his college ball at Bama and was the UofSC DC. I wonder why he was hired?

Where's that put Conn? Dabo ain't parting with Conn. Honestly, I think he keeps the staff. Unless one announces they're leaving or retiring like lemanski.

No he wasn’t. That was Todd Ellis. Matter of fact Rumph was our coach in 2009 I think then went to Bama.

He was defensive line coach at bama, not LB coach.

Tyrone Nix, then John Hoke, then Lorenzo Ward were spurrier DC’s at cooterville.

They are going to make Eason DC. Fire Reed, Conn, and Goodwin. They'll promote John Scott to coach a position group. There will be a new strength coach as well. Batson is retiring. This is with the BOT currently and will be made public soon.

Not firing Reed. He is a very good DB coach. Also Lomanski didn't retire, he is with another team but forget who

LH is at Vandy

Agree. I don't see Reed sticking around if he gets passed up again. He has done a good job and has been around way longer than everyone else on defensive staff.

Nooo!!! It was Lorenzo Johnson at Tennessee who was our analyst in 2010. Then Rumph came here in 2011. Ellis Hall left and went to Alabama in 2012. Then Wes went to Minnesota in 2013. He rejoined Clemson as an analyst in 2014, before Brooks left after 2016. Then Lemanski left after 2018, when Richardson came.
Spurrier recommended Johnson to Dabo in 2020. After CBV left, Wes became DC. And most of us are hoping this will continue to change.
