I watched the Texas game and how our DL performed.

We got Heldt, we have a new DC, and we have Amare Adams coming in.

I want to believe it; it's just hard to square with our last performance.

To be fair, Peter Woods was playing out of position all season. He is not a DE nor has the body type for a DE. With him in the middle, Parker and Heldt on the edges, that is going to be a nasty unit. I’m just worried about depth. Capehart and Denhoff are back as well if I’m not mistaken.
I was also impressed with Jaheim Lawson progression throughout the season.
I expect Vic Burley and Hevin brown-shuler to contribute as well. Then throw in Darien Mayo and Amare Adams. Pretty solid unit.

I hope Denhoff improves. I was expecting big things from him last year but he was a liability on the field most of the season.

They underperformed last season but I'm telling myself it was due to injuries and a poor scheme. Hope I'm right!

I’ll believe it when I see it. Last time we saw it, it gave up 300 rushing yards. Need to see big improvement at a Lawson and Denhoff.

300 against Citadel also, Louisville ran roughshod through our line , and of course Sellars just made them look silly. Proof is in the pudding.
