I don't want to offend anyone on here, but the board has a tendency to get fired up about things from ESPN or other media outlets that just aren't really a big deal. That being said, that CBS preview was a slap in the face. Talk about disrespectful. They gave the Tigers absolutely no chance in this game.

We are going to be "dominated?" Really? We haven't shown up in some games but that happens to EVERYBODY. Ask Oregon about that beatdown they got last weekend, or Oklahoma who caught a beatdown in Orlando. Since when did we become a no talent hack of a program? Did I miss something because they acted like big bad ND was coming to play at Kansas. Could things go sideways? Sure, we've seen it before, but I figured we'd gained enough respect with the teams we've beaten over the last four years or so. I guess I was sadly mistaken.

I hope coach has that thing playing on a loop all week. Forget slap in the face. They spat in the players faces and called them garbage. With that and the we're better than you because we are ND comments coming out of high class Indiana its time to pound these golden Nancys into the Death Valley turf.

Well perception has almost always ended in reality. ESPN's agenda is to create/manipulate a national perception that excludes or trivializes the legit cfb contenders which pose the most direct and likely threat to their cash cow, the SEC (FSU and Clemson). Baylor, TCU, UCLA, Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, Az, Az st, etc won't contend to southeastern receuits up against the SEC.

You give Clemson the attention, love, air time they deserve, and your opening the door for otherwise considered SEC lock recruits to walj through in choosing Clemson, FSU, Miami, NCST, BC, GT, etc...)

And this is why Clemson has no chance assumedly at full strength ( but ESPN fails to mention 1st rounder LT Battle or 15 starter EBO or top LB recruit in his class, Rogers parting ways with the team. Or that future NFL draftee DT Reader is out, or that Wiggins was lost for the year, and that we're now missing 2 of "3" returning D starters. How about the fact that the no. 1 projected WR off the 16 nfl draft board is missing after a beck fracture? I've heard very little about any of these losses, yet hear everyday that ND is without their all world QB and RB and S (after celebrating a no call PI incompletion).. plus a big time DT and who gives a ### who else... ob that WR who's back for this game who was the best in the universe....... until Fuller arrived.

Perception. It's convenient and prifitable for them to hype the big money fan bases like OSU/ND/USC/UT/UF/OU and now Michigan (a sleeper to make the playoffs now), over your TCU's, Baylor's, GT's, UofLs, BCs, NCST's.... minus Ole Miss, Miss St and Arkys of course.

When our walk-on BOSS kicker HUEGEL internalizes the fact that he has a better FGM-FGA average than all-world-Chinaman-NDs kicker, and believes he deserves, and should end up with the post-season trophy awarded to the best kicker in the country, he'll see it happen for him.
