All day visit today. Committed tonight before he left campus.
Very controversial pick among Nole fans. Probably more negative than positive.
My opinion: I'm surprised he is the top pick for Norvel and Malzahn. But, they know more than I do. And, they are staking their entire future coaching career on this pick. What I think now is irrelevant. What will I think about this pick in October will be the real question.

-62% completion rate, 18 TDs vs. only 5 INTs. I would not consider that “wildly inaccurate.”

Also, he only played one full season. In that season, he was 57% accurate (bottom 30) with 15 TDs and 14 interceptions.

100% committed to $$$$. He will likely get around $1.3-1.5m. If Dylan just got over $1m by the coots and Rattler was paid $1.3m last year, pretty sure Sellers will get more.

I would have thought FSU would look for a little more.
Aside from taking this guy today, I assume their quarterback room is empty, so they do have to get at least one more QB, correct?

Kromenoek left in the portal.
Glenn is the RS freshmen who started last year after Travis got hurt, but was surpassed by Kromenhoek late this season.
Third string is a walk on freshman.
We signed a kid out of HS. 3 star kid who Norvell is high on, but definitely not counting on him next year.
So, Nole fans are debating whether or not we will get another QB in the portal.
Here's the problem. Castellanos has two years of eligibility left. Who would be willing to come in and be slotted to sit behind him for two years?

for Malzahn's type of offense.
But... as I've said before FSU keeps trying to put a band-aid on a open chest wound and at most this is a one year fix. Norvell is simply living on borrowed time because he refuses to invest the time and develop their QB position and depth.
Once again next year, FSU will have no QB depth so all it's going to take is one injury to Castellanos and they will be in for another rough ride. Secondly - Castellanos left BC because he couldn't hold down the starting job - not sure that is a ringing endorsement of him being a champ caliber QB...

Developing a QB.

That was the plan this year. DJU was a one year plan. Then, starting in the Spring there would be a QB battle between Glenn a R-So (going into 2025) and Kromenhoek (a R-FR) for the starting job.
But, here were some of the problems.
1. Our OL was so pitiful we never got the running game going so we could run our offense. Our OL coach was horrible.
2. DJ could not operate behind a horrible OL. He was ineffective when he was healthy, and he got injured in the fifth game.
3. Neither QB was ready to take over for him, even in the best of conditions. And, bheind that OL they were even worse than DJU.
4. Neither guy got good enough coaching to be developed enough to be considered to be a vialbe candidate for 2025 starter.
Norvell's biggest mistake was totally misevaluating the ability of the coaching staff. The offense struggled last year, and the defense was not great either. But after a 13-0 season, Norvell decided to keep the coaching staff together and not change. He even got them pay raises and extensions. That was his biggest mistake.

Yeah, seems like a bad move. Dude played for UCF, was bad and couldn't win the starting spot. Transferred to Boston College, got benched there. But FSU thinks he'll make them a contender? He's a pretty good scrambler, but in his only full season, he was 57% accurate, 15 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. Seems like an awful decision.
