Ruke and Thomas are gone as seniors.
Any chance Carter, Trotter, or Wiggins come back?
The only 1st rounder I'm thinking in that list is Wiggins. The other 2 are 2nd round guys.

With the way Trotter and Wiggins played second half of the season? No chance. They’re guaranteed 1st rounders.
Carter has struggled at times this year. Not sure what his grade will be.

Doesn't play what's considered a premium NFL position, but he will be one of the first ILB drafted, probably mid- late first round. I think they both go. Carter has the talent and was asked to drop into coverage a lot which hurt his stats, but NFL scouts will see the film and ability. Carter is probably late 1st or 2nd round, but that's probably good enough to declare IMO. If I'm their adviser, I tell all 3 to declare and get paid. From a Clemson perspective, we have guys ready to go behind them.

Agreed. Each should do what is best for them. I think Trotter and Wiggins have maximized their draft status this year, and Carter could do the same next year if he stays healthy.
I thank ALL THREE OF THEM for how they've represented Clemson!

Trotter told some folks he’d be back, but in the context of the conversation I’m not sure if he was joking or serious. Even if he was serious he could change his mind.
