Cade isn’t Trevor Lawrence. He could be great, but he’s got some work to do yet. This isn’t Austin Westlake and he’s not playing Austin High or those chumps.

It's obvious DJ is our best option at this point. I don't blame people after the GT game for still thinking there was some doubt.... but at this point its awkward.

It's not about comparing one with the other. It's about finding out what he can do. Question: If DJ got hurt early on and Cade had to step in, would Dabo put him in with the backups and leave the starters on the bench? Well, that's what is happening and you can't assess his performance on that imbalance. We really don't know how good he is.

are in denial. Not just about the QB situation though, its bigger than that. They don't want to accept that this isn't 2018 and we aren't a QB away from being a title contender. They don't want to accept that we have issues all across the offense and across the offensive staff.
Admitting DJ isn't the problem means accepting all of the rest of that.

Someone gets it^^^^ I think some are def in denial and don’t see how we have taken a huge step back in WR talent ( Williams and Randall are legit but still not the group we are accustomed to)… missed on a qb which happens (dj is improving but not what we saw two years ago still, and the play calling and scheme is lacking big time … we are the only offense in America that every throw seems to be contested , nothing is easy when we are the superior talented team to most teams we play. Won’t continue to beat the O line down but still not where we should be as a program where we are. I’m being optimistic that we knew we would sleep walk and win the first three games and hoping we open a few things up on offense, if not and this offense doesn’t evolve I think you will see the same outcome as last year and Dabo may have some decisions to make at the end of the year or maybe after next year .

Cade is going to be a star. With that said, he is a Freshman and I'm not sure about him absorbing big hits. He is a great runner but it seems Deshaun's Freshman Season injuries have been forgotten.

He is as good now as DJ. He has much higher upside. Make the change now. Cade will take us at least as far this year as DJ can. If Cade takes over now, he goes into next season as a seasoned QB instead of a rookie.
