It ain’t about Barbie. You’d best do some research on reason for wearing pink in October. It’s a bit more meaningful than fashion. Hope you or a loved one will never be affected by what stirs the Pink cause.

Not one living person on the planet is unaware of breast cancer at this point. It is the highest funded research topic in medical history. It's enough already.

The pink represents breast cancer awareness. Smarten up before making hurtful comments. My wife is a breast cancer survivor. Pray you never have to endure what a loved one goes through.

My mom went thru it twice. You don't have a monopoly on that. Nothing wrong with what he said.

Never said or thought I had a monopoly on the subject. I made another comment to her and wished her friends my prayers. This board is out of control. I’m an ‘81 alum and rarely comment. I’ve decided to just stay off the board especially with the way our season is going. Still love our Tigers. GO TIGERS!

1. I am a woman. 2. I am being sarcastic. 3. I have been blessed so far to not have been diagnosed with breast cancer. However, my aunt was a survivor until age got her. I currently have two best friends fighting the battle. 4. I walk and raise money every year for breast cancer research.

Sarcasm aside, breast cancer is devastating. Although my wife has been cancer free for over a decade and had a wonderful general and plastic surgeon (reconstruction) she is still reminded oevery day of what she suffered through. Prayers to your friends.

Despite what some may believe, but wearing a certain color has never cured cancer. I wish it were that easy. Also, you never see other cancers represented like Breast cancer, (except a few years ago when Bryan Bresee's sister unfortunately lost her life to brain cancer) Cancer of any kind is bad and I do want women to get their regular mamagrams. But im just not wild about wearing pink every year. Maybe have a cancer awareness day and have fans wear the color of the cancer they or a family member is battling.

I keep calling you "he" ... sorry!
Nothing wrong with what you said. My mom is two time survivor. It was rough. I dont think ypur comment was insensitive at all. I
... People tend to live for having something to get upset about. Had you.said something insensitive or had you "mocked" women with breast cancer, would have been wrong.
You didnt. Ignore them.

If you’ve had your daughter go through breast cancer situation, some would have a different outlook on pink. Yes my friends breast cancer awareness is more important than football. Shame on anyone that makes light of the pink today.

While we're at it can we also ditch the ### all purple unis once a year? Gawd i hate the all purple. Looks ridiculous. And has nothing to do with our military heritage. Maybe a carryover from the Bowden days. IMHO
