A completely different stat and that would change a lot of things. Some of those teams were playing literal decades before Clemson was a school. And besides that I think 1970 +/- a few years would be a fair place to start a “modern era” stat.

Auburn is predicted to win 7 or 8 games this season, so Clemson has a decent shot at passing them if we can get the offense going.
