Kept improving each week. Missouri let Carolina drive 70 yards in 55 seconds. Had Missouri been smart they would have slid at the one and used up most of the time but scored too quick.

As they will go back to the portal - will it work? - crapshoot - didn’t for FSU this year but who knows - if Sellars, Stewart and Harbor stick with them that’s a good core though and they have recruited some good young OL. Plus more guys will be looking there way after this season.

I posted this couple weeks ago. Go look at the roster for South Carolina. Make sure you look at the picture roster. Compare that to the Clemson roster, including our walk on and such. Physically, they are incredibly way ahead.

This might be the turning point in the 2 programs. I just can’t help but think about the differences in quality between the two programs. The SEC is having monster game after monster game each and every week, while the ACC’s best games are…. SMU vs BC?
Of course the best players want to play in the most prestigious conference. The monetary difference will become insurmountable. NIL money will follow the top programs who are getting all the TV eyeballs. Those are the schools these kids want to play for. Money makes the world go round. It all makes perfect sense to me. And none of it is good for us.

I can remember when Mizzou was ranked, was it #6? I called hogwash. Now that they’ve lost 3 games, I’m certain that I was correct in my initial estimations on Mizzou.
So now the coots win an epic battle, at home, late, coming from behind and I’m supposed to forget that Mizzou isn’t any good?

-Our state was loaded with elite OLine talent 2 years ago, and they inked 4 or 5 of them. Also got the #1 athlete that is doing a stellar job for them as a WR
- signed an elite edge rusher.
- Looks like they found an in-state under the radar QB.

They didn’t play UGA, TN, or UF like usuall. They lost to LSU… LSU.
They beat a very above avg A&M team and got blown out by ole Miss.
The should have lost last night but Mizzou doesn’t have a defense. Also none could have predicted that OK and Kentucky were gonna be as bad as they are this season.

They got 37 seniors. Lots of portal guys brought in to go along with a few good recruits. Who has a roster of 37 seniors? That’s great for this year but what about that large turnover for next year. This is why I speculate Beamer will be at VT next year along with a few of his players following him.
