Cades not the problem

No elite receivers, no elite running backs, average corners, and don’t get me started on the play calling. Me personally I thought Cade showed improvement over last year. He has to throw the deep ball to a 5-10 receiver, being covered by a 6-2 corner.

late on many throws versus when the ball needed to be there. Some plays fizzled because the wr had to wait on the ball and the db caught up.

He'd hit more of his targets if He'd step up in the pocket and not under throw everything

Not sure what the OP is seeing with CK. Under throws deep balls consistently, holds the ball too long, not comfortable in the pocket, and not impressive running the ball or deciding when to run it.
I’ve been waiting for him to mature but it is just not happening. I totally disagree with the lack of playmakers. Briny, A Williams, Mafah, Brown and the two freshman would play for a bunch of high level teams.

I see more be ultra conservative Who cares if you gamble and pull all the stops and get beat by the #1 team in the nation. You can’t beat them without gambling. We were not going to run over them. Have a set and do something different. We r average due to the play calling. If you can’t see that you r stupid. That’s all. Put my soap box up for the wk. will it change probably not. 8-4

He processes what he sees too slowly, makes bad decisions, and still doesn’t know his hot read when they dial up blitz packages. I heard him talking about knowing his hot reads a few weeks ago, but in a game situation he seems to freeze up. He also can’t throw a deep ball consistently, his shots downfield turn into 50/50 balls most or the time because they are under-thrown.

We have several problems ie: QB, wide outs basic plays and the bubble screen still don’t work, and a back coming out of their backfield and no body covers them. They showed more physicality than our guys. Their running backs ran through our tacklers. No doubt that they are much better than our dudes.

Cade is a huge part of the problem. Starting with the very first play. You know they worked on that opening play for awhile in practice and Cade completed it perfectly probably every single time. And the play was working. But Cade missed it in the game when it mattered. You can see on his face he lacks the mentality needed. Looks more like a soldier under heavy fire than a guy playing a fun game.

We just need to open the position up to competition and let someone prove they are the best QB. Cade’s play has not given him some lifetime contract as a starter. We won’t make the ACC championship unless we get better on offense. Nothing to lose by trying someone else.

The whole offense is THE problem. The OL broke down, the receivers are small, Cade underthrows and takes too long to make decisions, the running backs look sluggish, and the play calling is predictable. I do not see much change from the DJ days. Is it the kids or the staff, I don't know. But what I do know it could be a long season with more sizzle than beef.

Disagree. We have play makers that are not getting used. This could be a really good WR/TE group if we get the the right players the ball.
We look like South Carolina before Spurrier found Connor Shaw or UGA before Stetson Bennett. Probably not a popular comment but let’s face the truth.
