He has a strong arm but he throws the deep ball way too high. I don’t understand why I coaching staff hasn’t fixed the issue. When he throws a ball that high it gives the safeties to much time to get over to the receiver. It is also a lot harder to throw it accurately and on time.

When you can roll out and throw a ball 60 yards that high it’s not an arm strength problem. He just throws it way to high which makes it look weak.

High, I did not believe was the main problem. He throws it short. Love to see them run under the throw not having to stop to attempt to catch it. I believe he had some good opportunities on the outside but seem to under throw everyone of them.

It’s short because a ball that high is hard to locate with pinpoint accuracy. The ball is in the air to long and these fast wide receiver are out running it

His biggest weakness has always been that he had an average arm.

The crazy thing is if you go watch his high-school games(in particular the game he played vs South lake Carroll) his biggest strengths were mobility and throwing guys open over the middle.

For 8 years now Clemson has abandoned attacking the entire field. The passing game requirement has become have a Tee Higgins and a cannon that can throw back shoulder fades like Tlaw. This was never a sustainable "scheme"
