It certainly has a lot to do with the level of competition, but the world has shifted on its axis since UGA vs. Clemson opener.
Fox Sports radio show hosts today were stating Daniel Jones may now be better than DW4 at the bottom of the NFL, and TL16 has lost 7 games in a row. Hopefully, the Jags get it together tonight.
But at present, taking away bank account balances, Cade Klubnik is far and away outshining our former Clemson GOAT's.

Cade has SO much more to do and to prove to even be in a reasonable discussion with those two that I don't know if it's even possible. Did either of those QBs get destroyed in a regular season game like we did this season? Did either of them ever have a low point as low as Cade did during that disaster in Raleigh last season?
He's had two great games. TWO. So have his OL, his receivers, his RBs and his starting defense. Let's see how the rest of the season plays out before anointing anybody.

he was letting it rip down the field and made it a game. He played with a ton of confidence, and although making some ill-advised throws, had UGA on their heels. it seems he was playing with a lot mroe confidence and had help from his receivers.

Happy Hour started early tonight? First, comparing QBs with a vastly different level of talent around them is silly at best. Second, until Cade has a Natty ring there is no discussion. Third, comparing two guys who have had success in the NFL with a Junior in College who has just found his grove is silly at best.

You’re comparing a college qb who was below average until 2 games vs the two best qbs in Clemson history?
Even worse you’re comparing Cades college performance vs NFL performances?

Come on, are you high? Cade is not in the ballpark with Deshaun and Trevor. Cade is improving and this year at least, our schedule is weak, so he could have a huge year and be in the conversation next year. Time will tell.

I love Cade but he’s not in the same league with those 2 guys - at least not yet! Crazy to make that comparison at this point. Not even close!

I said Cade is enjoying his best moments on a vastly improving program. I did not say Cade is or will be a better player.
But DW4 and TL16 are being ridiculed on every NFL show in the country and fighting it out with Danny Dimes for the worst starting QB in the NFL.
Cade is playing better than DW4 and TL16 right now against FAR WORSE COMPETITION.
