Something a discovered when I started looking more closely at FSU was the insane stat that FSU hasn't had 300 total yards in any of their game this season. They couldn't muster even 300 yards against Memphis' defense at home. Unbelievable!

New QB though!
Clemson will have to prepare like this is the Art Briles Baylor offensive teams! Because, you just don't know how much the QB play limited the offense.
* Was protections called out like they should?
* Did the QB check out of bad plays and into something else like they should?
All those things matter! If this new QB is able to at least the two things above where the currently "hurt" QB could not - it could make a huge difference.
All of the "portal lovers" would tell you all of their players on offense are good "since they came from the portal"! So, it must have been the QB(sarcasm).

I think FSU may get a lift in this game by seeming to "flush" this season. Frankly, it may be for the best for them. The team full of senior mercenaries got their money and they're not back next year anyway, so this might be a "turn the page" moment for them to look to the future. No pressure, no expectations. I won't be surprised if they play their best game of the season on offense.

we will get their best shot. We always do. It will be interesting to see how that works out for them but I'm sure they will give us a good game.

Scoring offense - 51.2 ppg 126th (ahead of only UCLA in P4)
Total offense - 278.2 ypg 125th (ahead of only UCLA in P4)
Rushing offense - 65.2 ypg 130th (ahead of only UCLA in P4)
And, the bright spot
Passing offense - 213 ypg 86th (ahead of about 15 P4 schools, including UCLA).
So, clearly - thanks to UCLA - FSU is only the 2nd worst offense in P4.

Did you mean to type 15.2 ppg? 51.2 would be the opposite end of the spectrum.
