Only Trump would interpret the market reaction to him walking back on his policy as a positive. And the market is still below what it was on Liberation Day, so there’s nothing to celebrate here.

I can’t imagine anyone being unhappy about the stock market rebound today. I’m quite happy.
However, the rebound is due to Trump pausing the tariffs except on China. Period.
The tariffs are the reason the DOW has been in the toilet.
Trump has stated the tariffs would bring us great prosperity and would help stop the flow of Fentanyl.
Therefore, why pause these great prosperity inducing tariffs or Fentanyl reducing tariffs?
If Biden( or the actual people in charge during Biden’s term) had pulled this same ####, I suspect most Trump supporters would be enraged and rightly so.
Yet, when Trump unilaterally pulls this stunt on the basis of a supposed emergency, bypassing Congress, much of Trump world is fine with that.
A true conservative can’t be in agreement with what has been going on or the logic of Trump’s arguments.

That would suggest something resembling a code of principles or beliefs. They're populists, which means they believe in whatever feels good in the moment. This is why they can cheer tariffs one day and say a little pain is needed, but cheer today when tariffs are suspended and the market goes up.
Or, they're just dummies. I think, on here, we're mostly dealing with dum-dums.

No, I get it. Trump, the man who has changed political parties 5 times, but labels any Conservative who opposes him as a RINO, seems to have a unique hold on many MAGA folks.
Someone who voted for Trump and supports tariffs please explain why Trump is pausing something that is so beneficial, something he loudly proclaimed was not a negotiating tactic.
Someone explain the emergency that Trump claims gives him, one man, the license to meddle in our economy to this extent.
GWB got Congressional support to launch the ill fated Iraq war, as he should have.
If Trump launches a preemptive military attack on Iran without Congressional approval will you be ok with that because Trump now decides Iran pursuing nuclear weapons is suddenly an emergency.
Blind loyalty to a man with minimal core convictions is not where any typically conservative voter should be.
Claiming an emergency when there isn’t one,to issue executive orders needs to come to a hard stop.
What goes around comes around and when a Dem President pulls similar unilateral stunts in the future, one shouldn’t ##### about it if you support no yellow or red lights on Trump’s power.

The echo chamber is Trump Disciples' mouths echoing anything that comes out of their Lord's mouth.
Trump could say, "We need to bomb the Moon, like nobody's ever seen before. It'll be the greatest bombing of the Moon ever," and Trump Disciples would be like, "yeah, that's a great idea. Let's bomb the Moon."
