But after going 12-0 this year it will be hard for us to beat Ohio State if the kid is looking for immediate success... hope we can land him thouhg for sure!

I believe the ban has ended, and they're eligible for postseason this upcoming year. I think it's been 2 years or so since they've been banned. They're gonna be scary for a lot of teams this year.
Actually, I'm happy that tOSU is back on the rise... just swings a little more of that power away from the SEC. I'm so ready for a power shift

Listen, I believe in "positive thinking" to an extent, but at some point it becomes delusional. We have a power spread offense. The spread has worked, but the power part of it hasn't----because we haven't a good offensive line in years. Plus, no power running backs. In addition, our S&C program is highly suspect---something Dabo seems strangely unwilling to address. So forget fantasies about a national championship. Hate to say it, but we'll probably lose to Georgia. And probably to Carolina. We are thin at running back, questionable on the OL, and undersized on the defensive line. And, we'll probably drop one or two more that we "shouldn't" have lost. Nuk bailed us out this past season, but he's gone, I don't see anyoneS who is going to step up. Hope I'm wrong, but this NC BS is ridiculous. We'll be lucky to win the ACC.

So sick of hearing SEC
Feb 13, 2013, 11:49 AM
|
|
"...he is building an SEC team up there...."
Why is this the general attitude? Why is every good team an "SEC like team?"
Does this mean that they are like a Kentucky? Or a Vandy?
I'm so sick of this....Can't wait for Clemson to win it all and eliminate this conference bias nonsense!

He's recruiting the south and trying to build a team very similar to what he had at Florida. I'm sure he's selling his SEC experience just like the actual SEC schools are.

they've been one of the better teams for years. Don't think they're too jealous of/ solicitous of being a "SEC team."

Clemson is recruiting as well as any one. And if we go 12-0 then I would be there watching the Nat title.. Do not put Clemson behind anyone I mean anyone. Dabo has put great classes together every year.. so the negative attitude needs to go

1) notice the FIRST part of the statement in which i said i have all faith in our program.
2) IF we went 12-0 you wouldn't be there watching the national title game, you'd be there (with me) watching the ACCCG
3) i haven't placed Clemson behind anyone. Yes Dabo is putting together great classes but this kid is obviously set on winning (seemingly) early and therefore I stated that in this young man's mind we may have ground to make up since Ohio State WAS 12-0 this year and had it not been for a ban they would have been playing for a national championship.
please try to digest the information in the post before you accuse me of negativity in the future. Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, they don't play for us anymore. We don't have players like that nowdays. That's a big part of the problem.

Something about his comments rubbed me the wrong way. Dude, you are privileged to get an offer from the Tigers. Your play next season is going to be part of your resume also.
