With a draft pick like RJ coming back expecting to play in the championship game, and with Luke building an O line, and with Moore and Christian Bentancur coming in pretty soon, I'm getting excited about the team we'll put on the field in 2024, and for me, it's starting to feel 2018 all over again, and if Cade is an improved QB, there is a good chance our guys could be playing for the championship... Go Tigers, let your #1 goal be taking home the hardware!!!

I think Luke will be the key to this season and the offense. Cade can certainly improve, but I think if he develops the confidence in his O-Line then that'll really boost his own condence level and get to where he needs to be as the elite QB he came in to be. If they start to gel with a well balance attack of run and pass then lookout! Mafah being the primary back should help allow more 1 on 1 matchups on the outside and let those playmakers go to work like we use to have. We lived off 50/50 balls to our big wideouts.

I liked that interview with Vizzina. I hope we blow some teams out this season so he can get plenty of PT. I like how excited he is to play.

Agree with this and maybe if things are a little stalled VZ can ring in some freshness?!?

This is not the best year we could have Georgia to start the season with. For this very reason ..too many questions about QB#2 and QB#3. Just hope and pray Klubnik has the game of his life against the Dawgs,,,but God help us if we lose him during this game for the rest of the season. You can bet Georgia will come out...first game..trying to make a statement. Would be one of the best wins Clemson has ever had in it's history if we do!

Yep. UGA returns 16 starters (QB 4WR TE, 2OT, 2OG, NT, 2DE, ILB, CB, S). Ouch!

I think game one is our best chance as they haven't settled in yet either. Often it's the early games vs tougher teams that can make the season. Starting 0 and 1 is tough, uphill rest of the season. 1 and 0 and they all have the confidence to continue.
Go Tigers!

While I’m excited to hear Wesco is a good 50-50 guy again I truly hope we have some different routes on 3rd and 7 than heave it up down the sideline and hope something good happens. Mr. Riley had a chance to see what his scheme needs playing the dawgs in the Natty a few years ago.

It seems like we've heard something like this the last couple of Springs, as well.
At some point, I become skeptical. They seem to have talent. We'll see.
They seem to have depth...until Stellato and Randall go out in the same practice.
I guess the last 3 years have caused me to "believe it when I see it".

Hope you're right. There's still the matter of health to consider as well. He and Moore may be great, but if they can't stay healthy, it's more of the same.
I'm going to withhold judgment until I see it on the field, for an entire season.

I'm not taking the cheese.
3 years in a row of having the worst WR group in the conference after having arguably the best WR room in the country a few times the prior decade has taught me better. Similar articles have been written the last 3-4 years about incoming and/or young WR's who haven't panned out before too.
While I'm intrigued about the possibilities, I'm not going to allow myself to get excited, only to be let down b/c of injuries, poor development/coaching, misses on recruiting or vanilla play calling.

More than WRs, I think the mediocre QB play the last 3 years has

created some losses.
Cade needs to rise up and be great. If he doesn’t, then it doesn’t matter who the Wars are. We literally had guys running free in Riley’s system last season, but Cade himself will tell you he was not good at mentally slowing things down seeing the field and his progressions.
He said he needs to improve there and is feeling much better with the system this year.
As Cade goes, so goes the Tigers. Having great WRs obviously helps, but processing the game, not panicking, and seeing those guys are the biggest issues facing our offense.

Yea I don’t see UGA losing 5 games. They’re gonna be out for blood after missing the playoffs by a missed FG. No doubt they were one of the top 4 teams. It’s going to take our guys having the game of their lives to beat them. There’s always a chance!

This sounds eerily similar to what we heard around this time last year.

We were told how great our skill position talent is, how our wide receivers are the best group we've ever had, etc.
Until this is proven on the field, I am chalking this up to the usual spring overhyping.

We’ve been hearing good things from you for years and years regarding basketball. A can’t miss, experienced roster anyone could promote, but otherwise you’ve never been right 🤣🤣🤣
