We fill 5 feeders and they get empty every day. The suet usually lasts for 2 days. There may be as many as 40 or even 50 song birds and others at any given time when one includes all those all over the ground. Best past time ever. I made our viewing area during
the stay at home part of the pandemic just to have something to do. Glad I did.

You may have some neighborhood squirrels helping the birds consume the bird seed. That is a very big problem for me. I solve it with .22 rat shot!

If you live near a wooded area, chances are that a Opossum cleaned out your bird seed during the night bc they are excellent climbers. Also, if you know that you have Opossum's coming on your property, put out old fruit for them to entice them to stay, they are great critters to have hanging around, they will eat any and all ticks, snakes, bugs, wasp, animal poop, just about anything.

I saw one in my back yard a few weeks ago, and I was trying find what would run them off without killing it, and I run across this bit of useful info about them.
