I still buy Coleman. You can get them at a decent price and will keep things cold for 3-4 days. How long does one need to keep food and beverages cold. I get it that it does not say Yeti and is not cool but only Millennials and Gen Z'ers demand that. However, both groups will try to get Mommy and Daddy tp pay for it.

Check Costco. I got one very similar, not Columbia, and it’s been a great cooler. We got it last year but I’m sure they have them every summer.

I don’t think a Coleman will hold ice for 3-4 days. I know you can drill holes and fill the walls with spray foam which makes a Coleman or other value brand perform like a high end cooler

The Coleman 7day cooler works pretty daggum well. I freeze my fish and other game when I go to AK and bring it back in the 7day cooler and everything is still rock solid. No ice or dry ice, just meats and no problem even when they lost my luggage for extra day, still fine.

I still use the good ole stainless Coleman cooler and have ice and cold beverages for 3 to 4 days. They're not inexpensive any more but compared to the "fancy names", they're a good deal.

It does seem well-constructed and built to last. Time will tell. There's no way though, I would have paid $130 for it. It was $80 at Marshalls, and I still had an unused $40 gift card from Christmas, so it was really just $40 out of my pocket.

If you’re on a week long fishing trip and wanna leave your cooler in the boat; then maybe spend a few more bucks. You can get a cheap cooler that gets the tailgating job done for the low low at Walmart.

I love my Yeti Soft Cooler 30. It works great and it just fits the carry-on luggage dimmensions if traveling where I will need a cooler.

It looks very similar to the one you bought. Hard-sided, welded, and leakproof with a 36-can capacity. Currently on sale for $39.99

Appreciate the tip. Quite similar. The Walmart one is still much cheaper than the $80 I paid, but I don't have time to go out to Walmart.

You have made the purchase so be happy with it. If you paid to much you want know the difference in a few weeks. Enjoy your cooler.

I've been using the same Coleman cooler for 30+ years. It doesn't leak and 20lbs of ice will last 2-3 days in summer...if you keep it out of direct sun.

Columbia coolers are battle tested in the harshest environments found on earth and have proved that cold water bottles travel farther when thrown from the stands!

You are correct. $130 is way too much money for it.
