Walz - I mean walls - dont work said the Diddycrats - here is why

The border wall doesn’t work if the construction materials are not used.
The Biden admin has quietly resumed removing construction materials valued at ~ $300,000,000 located at the southern border before Trump returns to office and renews border wall construction.
Just think about the coalition of Diddycrat sycophants (all of them liars and idiots) who said for 7+ years that ‘walls don’t work’ as a tool to restrain the influx of (what were formerly designated as) illegal entry aliens (I.e. before the Diddycrats changed the definition of these illegal immigrants to ‘legal’).

One thing for sure, is that Americans want tighter immigration and the masses agreed with Trump on the that aspect. I know I do. I am not sure what the story is with these materials not used. It seems Trump should have just gotten it all done while in office though.

Trump faced tremendous opposition to the wall. Current actions of the Biden administration remind us how much they hate the idea of a secure border. I think this time they get steam rolled on the immigration issue and the support of voters is on the side of Trump. I should say republicans better hear that message and act accordingly this time. Unless Tom Homan is all talk democrats need to get on board.

I would imagine the moderates of the Dem Party will just not be vocally against it. The Far Left will still oppose it is my guess. The Dems just had more to work with last time with Trump saying Mexico would pay for the wall. They liked making him look like a fool. It was easy for them. Then you add the illegal alien problem now to the mix and they don't have the ammunition this time to vocally oppose it.

It will just cost more because the soon-to-exit Diddycrats want to #### away more American tax money before Trump’s DOGE team can save that part of the money.
Class acts, those Diddycrats. The Diddycrats hate regular Americans, and the regular Americans from among all demographics are starting to figure that out.

You morons could really use a little education. Most of the people arriving at the border seek out a border agent and ask for asylum. The criminals you are so fearful of are usually too smart to get caught and will usually find a way around or under any idiotic wall.

Prisons cover a small area, are built to keep people in, and have armed guards.
We can’t do that and the wall Trump built got cut through like butter.

They do serve the purpose of funneling the people trying to enter legally by asking for asylum to openings that are patrolled. The people who really want to enter illegally will always figure something out.

in fact, I think it's a good idea.
Can you explain why it wasn't done/completed during Trump's 4-year term? He had GOP control over both houses of Congress his first 2 years...plus Mexico was supposed to pay for it (speaking of lying), right?
And if the current admin is disposing of building material so the wall can't be completed, then that's a crappy move!

I agree with building a wall / having a wall on the border and I agree with having much better border security. Hence, when I typed "in fact, I think it's a good idea."
My question was...why wasn't the wall built/expanded completely during the 4 years Trump was in office? And, secondly, why didn't Mexico pay for it as was promised?

Trump negotiated the ‘stay in Mexico’ deal with Mexico, in which Mexico stationed 25,000 troops on the southern border to restrain the flow of illegal immigrants into America. That was a more valuable use of Mexican funds than having them pay for the wall.
While the Mexicans were restraining the flow of illegals into the USA, the assembly of materials to build the border walls had begun. A small part of the actual new wall as completed.
Then, the Uniparty lawsuits to stop construction of the wall began. Next, COVID crisis halted nearly everything, including the border wall. Finally, a previously hidden trove of ~13,000,000 Democrat voters appeared during the middle of the night on election night 2020 to get Biden ‘elected’ and kill the Yrump border wall once and for all … or so the Uniparty thought.
Sidebar: What happened to those 13,000,000 mystical Biden 2020 voters in this last election? It must be those drones over the East Coast that have them; darn those drones for being 6 weeks late.
So here we are. Border walls V2 construction to commence in 40 days.

In your cartoonish version of the world, the wall is like a Lego set. In reality, the government has to seize private property from landowners, including many ranchers, to put up the wall. That's where the most effective lawsuits originated during the fourth Reich. There are many US ranches that since the 1800s have had cattle grazing on both sides of the border. The wall cuts off land the ranchers, for some of them back to great-great grandfathers, have used.

Barriers to wall construction

from AI........
The completion of the border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border during Donald Trump's first term was hindered by several key factors:
Funding Issues: Congressional Opposition: Many members of Congress, particularly Democrats, opposed the wall, leading to significant hurdles in securing the necessary funding. Trump's initial proposal for $25 billion was met with resistance, and subsequent budget negotiations often resulted in much less funding than requested.
Government Shutdown: In 2018-2019, a partial government shutdown lasted 35 days, the longest in U.S. history, over disagreements on border wall funding. Congress eventually agreed to allocate $1.375 billion for border security, far less than the billions Trump sought. National Emergency Declaration: In February 2019, Trump declared a national emergency to redirect funds for the wall, allowing the use of military construction funds. However, this was legally contested, and while some funds were rerouted, the process was slow and faced judicial review.
Legal Challenges: Numerous lawsuits were filed by states, environmental groups, and private landowners against the construction of the wall, particularly regarding the use of emergency powers to divert funds. These legal challenges delayed construction in several areas.
Environmental and Land Acquisition Issues: Environmental Concerns: The construction faced opposition from environmental groups worried about the ecological impact on borderlands, wildlife, and natural water flows. This led to additional legal battles and required environmental assessments that slowed down the process. Land Acquisition: Much of the land along the border was privately owned, and acquiring it through eminent domain or negotiation took time. Some landowners resisted, further complicating and delaying construction.
Physical and Technical Challenges: Terrain and Geography: The diverse and often rugged terrain along the border posed significant engineering and construction challenges, increasing costs and time for completion. Design and Specifications: The wall's design kept evolving, from concrete to steel slats, which required adjustments in planning, cost estimates, and construction methods.

are you able to interpret that yourself?
Let's take the government shut-down of 2018-2019. He assumed office Jan 2017. Doesn't strike you as odd he shut-down the gov over wall funding right after the GOP lost control of the House in the Nov 2018 election?
He horribly mismanaged the entire process. And this story is a great example of Trump's inability to lead and work with Congress and I've I said on here many times...it forced on a the true fiscal conservatives willing to take on issues out of Congress (Paul Ryan).

B.S. excuse for the Uniparty’s intense efforts to stop construction of the border wall.
Instead of owning up to the Uniparty’s preference to ob-struct the wall instead of helping Trump find a way to con-struct the wall, you attempt a diversionary argument to hide the Uniparty from culpability in the national disaster aka tens of thousands of criminals, terrorists, and criminal gangs that were dispersed throughout the immigrant flood.

No.
It’s primarily an issue of national security. Some distance down the priority list is the cost of securing the border.
FYI, Trump is already negotiating with Mexico to reinstate the ‘stay in Mexico’ executive order that Biden quashed as soon as he got to the WH.

I think you are confused about Title 42. When it expired, we had to go back to regular immigration law. If they ask for asylum, we have to adjudicate it. It’s not simply some fat orange piece of garbage ordering them to stay in Mexico unless we change the law.

All that rage must make you shyt yourself even more than normal. How much do you have to pay people to clean you up every time? Keith Schiller gets six figures for wiping Trump's ###.

we shouldn’t have had to pay anything since Mexico was going to pay for it. At least that’s what Trump said.

He's one of the craziest ####### you could ever meet in person. His bar was pretty unique for the time, though.
In all seriousness, the wall is just a gimmick to fascinate stupid people who have no understanding of what's happening at the border. The big thing we need is a few more CBP agents and a whole lot more immigration judges.

Just realized how illegal that is. He can't take Texas taxpayer funds (there's no personal income tax, but you pay one way or another) and transfer them to the federal government. LIke I said, he's a crazy SOB. Probably smarter than Orange Jesus, because he's only been bankrupt once and never been convicted of a felony.

If you had half a brain and could extract one thumb from your ###, you would bid on some of the materials. Then sell them back to the government for a profit. I have friends that do that. They gamble on buying random lots of government excess. Sometimes they lose, sometimes they win big.

Thank goodness your loyal Padawan has access to your teachings.
Please, Master, enlighten me. Cleanse me with your wisdom.
Why do prisons have walls? Those walls are simply a waste of resources to fool gullible people into having a false sense of security. Did I get that part of the lesson right? Should we get rid of prison walls? If not, then explain why we should keep them.

To be fair, those walls wouldn't work without the armed guards and the jail cells inside and it béing a relatively small confined area.

He believes the wall is magical because Orange Jesus ordained it. The bright side is that I never thought to look at government excess for a side-by-side.

### are you talking about, dipshyt? I'm talking about getting a military Polaris on the cheap to replace the lesser side-by-side I have now. Less likely to stick it in the mud while liquidating hogs.

Cleansing isn't my thing, but there's a character on here who can help you. Most providers charge to give you a colonic, but SOLOS actually pays you to let him do it.
