Blaming Dabo?

Just to be sure...did Dabo fumble twice in goal line situations? Did he drop four makable catches on critical downs? Did he not wrap up the Duke QB and allow him to run for a TD? Not sure I understand. I will say he didn't have the team ready to play. I felt the defense looked slow. AND maybe #### is that good. I will continue to watch and support the Clemson program and hope they get the issues fixed.

I will always have hope. Just like I hope my stock portfolio doubles every month for the rest of my life. But guess what?

The head coach deserves all of the blame.
It's his program, his players, and his staff.

Yes, blaming Dabo. The mistakes were bad last

night for sure but z Duke had two fines last night also, one which gave us our only TD. The blame for Dabo comes from the overall picture. Hitting coaches that seem to lack the ability to develop talent, and the refusal to use the portal to fill housing holes.

Especially in college football where a head coach has unfettered power to bring in whomever he chooses and run the program however he wants. Also, when you try to do things differently than everyone else you open yourself up to a little more criticism.

Did he have 8 months to make sure the team was making self-crippling plays, or hire the positional coaches who can't teach the O-line to block in the red-zone or wr who can get separation or catch the ball?

DABO is RESPONSIBLE for EVERYTHING you saw last night.

and it could've been so easily avoided if not for Dabo's pride and hardheadedness thinking that every choir boy he gives a schollie to turns to Gold.

Dabo is the head man. Recruiting, player development, game plan, and all aspects of the program are on him.
What you said is stupid if you really think about it. When Dabo won the 2 Nattys, did you say "It's all the players, they did it all. Coaches had nothing to do with it."?

if we dont blame him, should we ever give him credit.
pulling for him too and its ok to lose a game every now and then (or 3 out of 4) but i dont buy into loyalty shaming fans who are wondering why the descriptions dont match the product.

Did Dabo put us in a position where we were desperate to score? Yes. Did the guys tighten up because of it? Yes. Did Dabo refuse to get a WR in the portal? Yes.

every phase of the game, by Duke, who are you going to blame? Everyone but Dabo? Yes players made bad mistakes, but our coordinators called bad games too. LBs frequently not in position to make plays because of the playcall. OUr offensive playcalls in the first left alot to be desired.

First, Dabo is a multi-multi-millionaire because of Clemson football. I think he is allowed to be critiqued.
Second, I watched 8-10 college games over the last five or six days. That’s around 16-20 teams. Take away the fumbles and weird flukes and guess who was still one of the top couple teams who were least prepared to play and lacked any kind of intensity and toughness? Clemson. Dabo and Friends make way too much money, and Clemson is too big a program, to have talked so much sunshine and then lay an egg like they did.
Dabo deserves a ton of criticism and critique. Yes - he had an incredible run. But now he seems to be stuck in an echo chamber and things aren’t going well. Remember when FSU fans thought Bobby would get things turned around too? “Trust Bowden”, “Bobby is an FSU legend”… Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Ya'll are right and I am wrong. I was brought up that it was my fault if I didn't get an A, not the teacher...the 100 dollar Jordan shoes didn't make me jump higher...or if I dropped a fly ball...it was my fault. We live in the age that the kids are never wrong. Fire Dabo...that will stop the fumbling...call me an ###.

And yes every individual player needs to be better too. But it’s not like a couple of players screwed up. Players didn’t play well, coaches didn’t coach well or cal well and one thing they all have in common is Dabo as the CEO. Ultimately his job to fix it.
