We just moved up here from Charleston. First football season away from SC. Any Clemson fans or watch parties? Also, I’ve got a good feeling for this UGA. Love to shove a win in my old bosses face!

Isn’t Billings like 6 hours from Mt Rushmore?

Irrelevant. LBB has incredible eyes that can see hundreds and hundreds of miles away and just assumes everybody else can too. That’s how he spots all his girlfriends from far away.

Know a little about Bozeman. Know nothing of the rest of MT

Head up to Bozeman for a conference each year. Amazing the growth (and kind of sad) of the area since I’ve been going there around 2016. But you didn’t ask about Bozeman.
Got nothing to share except congratulations on the MT move and I’m a bit jealous.

I’m pretty sure Yellowstone is a reality show. And not one of those scripted ones either. The real deal stuff.

Awesome! Maybe I’ll meet him. Whitefish might be a little far for a game trek! I have had a friend I’ve met here, offer to take me to a Nebraska game. Might check it out, doubt it will be as good as a Clemson game, but they have great fans too.

Segars is somewhere near Roundup … close enough to you that you will (surely) meet.
I live in Helena … since 1972. Twice I have huddled with the Bozeman Clemson folks for early season games. I will look into the specific contact info and get back with you. Bozeman is close enough for you as for me … perhaps we will meet when the game with Georgia kicks off.

Billings is a great town full of good ole fashioned Americans. It's got all the amenities you want but in a not so congested city. Congrats on the move!

We just did it. Grew up in Charleston our whole lives basically. Not anything now, like it was before. It was a lot of work, a lot of money. Not to mention stress of coordinating logistics of a whole family moving from a hot climate to a cold climate…in the middle of winter. Had a great real estate agent in Charleston who vetted some in Billings, and found us an amazing realtor here.
We looked at Kalispell as well, but really wanted to be close to a larger city to learn the winters and the landscape first. Moving company was a rip off 100%. In the end, we love it here. So glad we left. Hopefully can still catch most if not all of My Tigers. Don’t really care about the Panthers. Mostly watch highlights of Braves online anyways 😂.

The physical moving part was stressing me more than anything

Moving companies were insanely expensive but at the same time i didnt really want to drive a giant uhaul across the entire continent. Weve been up there in all seasons so i already knew what i was getting into climate wise and honestly that was the biggest draw for me. So over the heat humidity bugs allergies etc etc and i love the snow. Oh well, ill get there eventually!

slower pace of life, hardy Americans who carry guns and know how to use them but do not unless absolutely necessary(mostly wildlife). The land/scenery is incredible and far less humans than Charlotte, NC which is a major plus.
Enjoy your life in Billings, I would not mind moving somewhere in that area at some point if it is possible.
Go Tigers!!

Already less stress from traffic and people. People remind of those found in the south. Except they don’t drink sweet tea lol
