Biggest Non-Clemson game for us this weekend

IMO:
MD vs. FSU.
Other than it being one of only 2 ranked team matchups this weekend (whoda thunk that'd be the case), will be a good benchmark for both teams.
If MD beats FSU, they could be our biggest test from here on out. If FSU rolls, "they are who we thought they were..."
Big game for ACC Atlantic and Clemson.

Whatever way it plays out, we get to see both teams open up the playbook (at last).
This game couldn't come at a better time from a game film standpoint.

If we win out and Ohio State wins out, we will get in ahead of them without question. Their marquee wins are probably gonna be Wisconsin and Northwestern. If we lose 1 at this point it's probably going to end our hopes. A loss to FSU means we don't even win the division and never get a chance at another good win in Charlotte. A loss to SC would be the last week of the regular season and probably too late in the year to recover from.

That's the best outcome. It shows FSU is the better team, and we have them at home. It also means FSU probably isn't a dominate team.

I think the biggest thing is avoiding any lulls in the FSU

game. I think we can get up on them early but in that game more than any other have to keep the foot on the gas until the clock reads 0:00. We were maybe one good possession from blowing their doors off last year, but didn't get that possession when needed.

MD is better than advertised, FSU isn't as good as advertised. Hell, I'm not sure we're as good as advertised just yet (won't know until we play FSU and MD).
