Now, next week....I hope Wake hangs 60 on'em.

I hope not, we need for it to be close or a win for NC State, a win for NC State would keep both teams rank in the top 2....

I like something the Greg McElroy mentioned about Clemson this weekend. He goes college football is in a sad state when we have to constantly say an elite team has to have style points to win. He goes it used to be a win is a win.He goes people question our comeback against Syracuse, but yet don't question TCU vs KState comeback. One's celebrated and one's looked at a bad win. Greg goes not only that but Clemson had the pressure of setting the ACC Home win streak as well. Then I heard Bo Pelini discuss this on Bussin with the Boys podcast. Bo says people don't understand how hard consistently winning is. He goes getting 8 wins a season is not an easy process when you've doing it for a while bc you get everyone's process and there's so much tape on you.

But he is apparently not giving Clemson as much credit for beating Wake, NC St, FL St and Syracuse as TCU for beating Okla, Ok St, KA & KA St! FSU may not rate with the 4 TCU beat at this point but not that much better of a resume.

when an elite program needs style points...
Let's be real now.... Elite is a word reserved for application to something that is not merely consistently good. We all want the little guy to win, but elite doesn't mean fighting above ones weight class. Elite doesn't need justifications, elite overwhelms. We have nothing in our season that indicates elite, but we do keep winning. I'd say our wins are quality wins. We might well have been challenged more than any other team, but we haven't looked elite in doing it and we either want a little guy overcoming or the big guy taking care of business. As applied to us this year I don't like the standard but it is the standard.

Great observation of the mentality of fans when watching a game not involving their own team ...

That is so on point.
Nobody likes watching the big guy fighting back to survive!

And I’d always rather Wake beat ncst anyway.
And maybe Syrexcuse can keep winning and climb back up the rankings.
Those two solid wins should be good enough for us.
Nancy state can eat shyitt and die.

SOS only comes in the picture if there are more than 4 undefeated teams and that cannot happen. If we are 13-0, we are in the Playoffs and if there 5 or more undefeated or no loss teams, we are likely out. We win, we dance.

I found it weird that i was watching most of the game and the camera didn't pan to him until towards the end of the game
