I know we are not the biggest but with the West Endzone and the hill it really is magical.

A cold night game like Ducks/Stanford or Ducks/Washington or USC is an insane asylum. I thought it might collapse at the Stanford game two years ago. Best outside of DV I have been to.

Never been, but my SECOND favorite stadium besides Clemson is Husky Stadium in Seattle...plus, it's the only COLLEGE stadium that's other a inherent documented decibel reading than us. Speaking of, there's NO way ouround meter so on the field, we're getting some low readings for some loud games. We need to fix that...

I was also going to say LSU. I was there last weekend for the LSU and Bama game. I would still take the real death valley over LSU's deaf valley but it was a fun place to watch a college game. By comparison LSU's stadium is a lot better than Alabama's. I do not understand why Bryant-Denny gets as much love as it does. Yes it is big and looks nice because of its symmetry, however its not a great place to watch a game because the stands are set so far back from the field. They have a big walkway area with hedges and fence down between the sidelines and the stands so even a front row seat is twice as far from the field as a front row seat in memorial stadium. I do like the overhangs they have above the stands at Alabama to provide some shade. Our stadium is oriented differently so we dont have quite as much a need for the shades but I do think it adds an imposing look to the stadium and helps reflect even more noise down on the field.

I agree. Been there for Ohio St vs Michigan, I was shocked at the lack of electricity in the air. They cheered louder when the Souzaphone dotted the "I", than they did at anytime during the game. Tea & crumpets crowd. Reminded me exactly of the UNC crowd.

is Texas A&M followed by Auburn.
I wasn't particularly impressed with either Florida or LSU.

Notre Dame is a good venue.
First college stadium I ever went to. Grew up in Indiana and older brother went to Notre Dame. It is not the loudest stadium by any means, but it really is cool from a historical perspective.

The weather, scenery and size makes it pretty awesome. Otherwise by looks and atmosphere, I've always liked Florida, LSU and Tennessee

stunning views, great fan atmosphere. Not as big as many stadiums (holds 64,000) but it's one of the best locations to go watch a college football game
