You're wild for posting this because that's exactly what Brownell did in the first round vs. a 12 seed.
Duke just lost in the Final Four. One year doesn't make Brownell a good coach, so this was a nice attempt at humor, but a big swing and a miss.

ESPN gave them a 95% chance of winning with 1 minute to go.
Based on your logic, we can’t ever criticize another team unless ours did better. I know there were plenty of criticisms here of the dozen or so football teams that did better than us last year. Would it have been okay to respond with reminders of how poorly our team played or how we weren’t close to playing for the national championship?

It’s easy to say Duke chocked, but the reality is the referees allowed Houston to play very physical the last 3 or 4 minutes and since Duke started trying to limit possessions by running the clock out at the 8 minute mark they quit scoring and that allowed Houston to believe they could win so they ramped up the “effort” or physicality. The irony of you mentioning another team chocking after what our Tigers did is not funny and it doesn’t hurt any less.

Somebody makes a post about the duke basketball game and these idiots chime in making fun of our program. Me calling out their hypocrisy is not trashing the football program. I love the football program and want nothing but the best for them.
You have come around and proved you are an actual Clemson basketball fan, but let's not forget that 2 years ago you trashed an incoming portal recruit on his own twitter post. And that recruit then locked the post so nobody else could reply.

I have to blame a lot of that on the coaching staff. The thing that lost the game for them was they couldn't inbound the ball, and they didn't have any kind of different inbounds play.

So if anybody else on the board said this we would have a thead. Because it is JK it devolves into finger pointing between calling out Brownell for the 1,000,000,000,000,000 and a back and forth on foootball.
Yes Duke choked. Yes I loved it because I strongly dislike Duke. And yes we and Houston were Dukes last two Ls for the year.
Glad they choked and I will never complain about Duke getting a bad whistle because they have a net credit of a lot on that front.
