Yep, it sounds like they wanted to get these two big guys in first before he indicated coming back. Those three form a really good frontcourt.

I hope so. So far I don’t see anyone better than Schieff and Lakhin. Assuming one of the three will be better than Wiggins. If Foster can grow and improve this offseason or one of the Freshman like Thompson can make an impact it will help close the gap.

I think so to. I’m not trying to look at next season alone. I think they bring value to help the overall programs future. I’m being a Debby downing because I will miss the two bigs next year. I was wrong about Lakhin. I wasn’t on board with him when he transferred. But he proved me wrong. I just wish we had 1 more year with them.

Godfrey averaged 6 points per game, we have not even come close to replacing the scoring we lost.

I don’t think a lot of people doubted. I remember reading an article last year after our Elite 8 run that he wanted to start and Brad Brownell couldn’t promise him that he would start. And also he’s from Georgia so maybe he had a family emergency that had occurred and needed to be closer to home. Just my two cents. But glad to have him back.
