It's too risky if throws you off that much. Let it bounce. At best, you save 5-10 yards. Not worth the risk

you think you're gonna field the punt then a gust of wind takes it and thoughts start running through your head, what yard-line am I on, etc. His first reaction is always to catch the football.

Dabo raked him over the coals after it happened for that very reason. I never said that I would do it better, just saying that he should. There is a difference when you are TRAINED to do that. Did you also feel that it was ok when he dropped the one against USuCk Last year? That was hard too. He might have gotten the light in his eyes, or someone might have yelled when he was about to catch it......
