Jarrel and Paino are not any good…. Especially Jarrel.

Do you kids ever look at the big picture? Paino is our leading home run and RBI guy so that is not too shabby. Jarrell is not a great hitter but not the worst and is a good defensive guy. Coach B is the skipper for a reason.

This may be Bakich’s most difficult lineup to get cranked up since he arrived. There just isn’t the power you’d expect on paper. I thought wait until the warmer weather but it’s not happened so far. We don’t have a Wagner, Wright, or Amick going on a massive heater. Priest was supposed to be Caden Grice level power, but nada so far.

granted I’ve only been to 3 Friday home games, but I’ll be dang if you don’t have to figure out a way to shoot one low and down the lines to get one out of DKS with what seems like a consistent 10-15 mph wind coming in off the lake. I’m sure the winds will let up in April and I’d imagine the HR’s for both teams will go up.

I would love to hear who would replace paino at 3rd and especially who would replace jarrel at catcher… we simply do not have a jimmy obertob or Blake wright this year these are the guys suck it up there going through a bit of a cold spell it’s baseball if anyone needs to be out of the lineup right now it’s Preist at dh crighton should be in that spot right now.

Jarrel is by far our best catcher defensivley. We have too many pitchers with different arm slots to start trying out catchers and Gaffney isn't the answer back there. JJ has striped some balls, just right at people like last night - that's baseball. And I would bet 100% if the WF CF doens't rob if of that HR your still singing his praises.

As for Paino, he can hit the ball, but his K rate is way to high. I'm not sure what you do there because his defense at 3B is insane. I'd rest him a game or two during mid weeks.

IMO the fatigue of the season is kickin in. 2 mid week games with the weekend series and we don't rotate any players for mids to give the starters a rest. Some that is because they couldn't put away games when they had a 3-5 run lead early in season, even the weekend games. Now we are over 1/2 point in the season and you may just keep the Fr for the RS?

They will adapt and adjust, hopefully won't take too long. Maybe a road trip will be good for them. No distractions and plenty of hotel/rest time.

Lmao I’m glad some aren’t coaches like you…JJ is streaky but not bad behind plate. Others have potential but not experienced bc they are young. Paino is solid at 3b on d. His bat isn’t bad. We knew this season we weren’t gonna have a power team and it has shown. Everyone loves the long ball but this team has no true power guys it’s gonna be multiple guys having 10 or so hr instead of one having 20 hr. This team will get it back today. Stop panicking.
