Plantar fascia tear: In November 2023, Collins tore his plantar fascia during a game against North Carolina. The plantar fascia is a band of tissue that runs along the bottom of the foot, connecting the heel bone to the toes. The typical recovery time for this injury is 2–5 months.
Separated left shoulder: In 2022, Collins suffered a separated left shoulder injury that ended his season. He required surgery.
Sprained AC joint: In 2022, Collins missed time during fall camp due to a sprained AC joint.
Foot injury: Collins suffered a foot injury during his first spring at Clemson.
Groin and hamstring injuries: Collins also had to overcome groin and hamstring injuries.

Funny though ……. don’t know who Collins is making all those catches against, but the bigger games where I have watched ND, he has disappeared.

lol Bo wouldn’t of even played this year. Go look at his stats. He was WR1 at notre dame and was pathetic. lol we have 3 WRs with better stats than him. Not to mention he had a better year with Clemson than Norte dame

Beaux never seemed to go after contested catches. If the ball didn’t hit him in the numbers he didn’t even try to catch it then his body language headed back to the play was questionable at best. Just didn’t seem like he was putting forth the effort. Now some of that might have been the lingering effects of the injuries, but either way, he didn’t play up to his potential. Effort is just as important as coaching, if not more so.

You can bet on looks. I'll bet on production.
When he's healthy, he's pretty average. I like the guy and happy he caught a TD pass. He's the same player he's always been though.

Who knows what they would have done had they stayed at Clemson. Both very talented but neither did much here. Like what has been said already.. coaching matters, looking at you Conn and Grisham.

I'm of the opinion that Dabo helped Grisham recruit and coach past his solo ability with the WR group.

That would be a great response if either a) the season is 1 game long or b) you think Collin’s would have changed the outcome one of the game.

Now do you think they were better than Moore or Wesco? Definitely not better than Williams

lol 3 WR had better stats this year on our team. Bo was terrible and wouldn’t have got any playing time. Moore and Wesco are better WRs year one than Bo is a as senior

Re: Beaux Collins and Andrew Mukuba...

Jan 2, 2025, 6:46 PM

Collins had better stats at Clemson last year.

Both last year at Clemson and this year at Notre Dame Collins got a lot of snaps because both teams were short on receivers.

He’s a nice guy and a decent receiver, but pretty much the definition of mediocre. Good for both parties that he left Clemson; we did not need him this year.

Collins is ok as a role player. Glad he found a spot where he can contribute.
Mukuba has a 3 year old back in Austin and wanted to go home. We would not pay him enough to stay given That we had Mickens,Barnes and Griffen coming back.
