Whatever it is, the game won’t be pretty. Our offense couldn’t score on a Kardashian hoe. Our defense has had the hell beat out of them. Half of the first string won’t be able to play because they’ve got torn ACLs, busted shoulders, and torn muscles. The rest of the D is walking wounded.

I think last year they played a good game against us with Trevor and Travis covering some of the stuff we are seeing now with play calling. So for me it is going to be a close game. Tigers win, but it will be another low scoring affair, with Clemson wining by single digits. Unless, the impossible happens and we get some creativity on offense.

Didn’t TL miss the BC game last year due to covid ?
DJ played better in that game by a long shot than anything he’s done so far this season. I agree that TL and ETN made up for some offensive deficiencies.

He really did not play that great until the second half and then real well in the ND game. So everybody keeps saying he played good last year for 2 games well it really was only 1 1/2 games.

I would expect the same sort of game as we had against NC State.
Defense keeps us in the game for a while.. though a shorter while because we have already used up a lot of players keeping them on the field too long...
and we lose a 17-13 type of game.
However... if the staff simplifies the offense and just works on a few things that can get us moving a little.. maybe they find a spark.
Better to run a simple offense that can get 300-350 yards than struggle with what weve been doing and getting 200.

I am going to say nailbiter just because I have thought that we would win going away in every game all season. Maybe if I think it will be close, we can get something going.

We win because I don't think BC is as good as NC State on their field, and Ga Tech. Ga Tech really improved when they played us and it showed vs UNC Saturday. They could go on and win the Coastal Division. BC's QB is not as good as the starter that has been hurt. Tigers somehow find a little spark on offense. 20-10 Tigers.

I would bet on the likely outcome being a blowout.
Boston College has a legit offensive line to run behind. It doesn't feel like our Dline will be able to holdup without Bresee and Tyler Davis clogging the middle. Ruke and Tre are really good, but the depth completely falls off after them.
And I don't see how our offense does anything. Does anyone feel confident that Kobe Pace will have a good game behind our offensive line? BC will take away the run and deep shots. DJ will have to beat them in the short-intermediate passing game. But, we don't have the WRs built for that.
BC is confident, Clemson is not.
This feels like it could get ugly.
