Baseball in Raleigh!

RPI now currently at #46. Definitely into must win stretch of season. Obviously not expecting sweep, but of course 2/3 is great. Also, the coots are now #2 in RPI and just run ruled the gators tonight. We have a win against them, so it should help (screw em).

Not sure who’s on the bump Friday, but we’ve got to get the 1st game this time. I’d go with Gorden. I’d say he’s our 2nd behind Grice as the ace.

I want to beat up on the Wolfpack every time we play them. Won’t be many more times we play them in the ACC I’m guessing, and I just don’t like them almost more than anyone in recent years in all sports.

Omaha push!

Not sure who'd TD the post. Hopefully a mistake. Anyway, we're down to the wire. Uga beat arky 6-5 tonight too.

Not gonna sugarcoat it. We're down to 200th in HR's. Yeah, we lost Wagner but not really anyone else. We certainly struck out more last year and we have youth... sort of. But the drop in power and scoring from last year is concerning.

147th in scoring nc state is 27th
109th in hits

Cam, a freshman is the only one on the team that actually sees the baseball. Time will tell but I can't say it's all because of Montes players.

Yes, for some reason our power is just way off. It is frustrating watching other teams (that should not be as good as us) just crushing the ball. I'd like to see the number of HRs that we have given up versus how many we have hit.

In 38 games we’ve hit 31 homeruns and given up 50

I have an idea of who it could’ve been. He’s a coot.

NC State’s at an RPI of #8. That shocked me. They’ve got a series win versus Louisville some other decent wins, but 8th is weird. So if we even get one win versus them it should at least move us up.

But like you mention the offensive stats, I really don’t see much of a difference between the 2. Both have had games where they’ve scored 10+. It’ll just be a series of randomness. Guarantee you there will be a lot of errors both sides because of the ball being hit so much.

Cam, Taylor, Grice, and Ingle are all hitting over .300. Do you really expect an entire team to be hitting .400? Lol. It's all about timely hits and we are doing much better in that regard.
