It’s no surprise at all that we got disposed of quickly today, in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
You could see that coming from a mile away, because I’ll bet all Backitch could think about was getting on the bus back to Clemson for the stupid asss bananas cabaret show. Heck, I’ll bet he’s flying back on the private jet so he can go rub elbows with Barnum and Bailey.
Just terrible.
But I am still optimistic for the rest of the season.

How could you be optimistic for a trip to Tallatrashy? We will lose that series and play ourselves out of top 4 seed for ACC tourney. I hate it but our hitting has been awful.

I like him too. Maybe, I am just old school, but I just don’t get the appeal of this whole Banana ball thing. If am going to watch baseball I want to watch real baseball.

First all of you want great players to play here so EB's so called "obsession" with the Bananas has everything to do with marketing. EB believes those guys are marketing geniuses and wants to use that marketing technique to grow the Clemson brand as well as the players brands. Let's face it Clemson is at a disadvantage to other baseball powers when it comes to money. So EB is trying to figure out ways to overcome that short fall so he can bring in big time guys. I know ppl are upset with this weekend but it's the first series loss in a long time. You were bound to run up against a talented hot team and NC State is exactly that. They have to figure the bats out. Above everything the bats have been the biggest problems. I'm telling you now NC State is peaking too soon. Clemson has time. Back in 2016 ppl on this board said this fan base was going to become a Bama fan base where you can't even enjoy the games anymore and that is where we are. Clemson is having a top 10 year so far but ppl can't even enjoy bc they are so emotional ignorant that a loss or series loss, the first in forever, has them crying the season is over. Friggin unreal. Man I hope most of you are in your late teens or early 20s. I can't imagine a grown man being this irrational.
