Sounds like politicians begging for money. Seems if the recently built as I saw on this board $288 million football facility they have plenty for Nil already. He is saying we need more money to buy the best mercenary team in all college football. Oh boy, here it goes. We lost because we need more money.

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper for all of college sports to team up as one and force the NCAA to do something about the tampering and how the NIL affects college sports, and place rules on that also. Any 4-5 star kid that bucks against that, dismiss them from the team and let them find a simi pro team to get them ready to have the chance of maybe playing a pro sport!!!

The NCAA is the colleges and universities. The decision makers are all school presidents and chancellors. The NCAA can’t do anything because every rule that limits this stuff is overturned by a court. I think the only way is to have congress pass legislation and have all football players be employees. That way they have to agree to whatever terms. But then there will be a union and collective bargaining.

I am not talking about courts limiting the amount of NIL. Just about players being amateurs. Being not able to make money off their Name Image and Likeness.

OK, but now it's time for college sports to change their rules to counter the effect of the NIL. All NIL$$$ should put in a trust to be paid out to whatever sport the player brought it to, and all players gets a share. If the NIL player bucks against that, tell him to find a NIL simi pro team to get his advance sports training from....

Throughout out my entire life there was two things that I hated with a passion bc it was so embarrassing, and that was having to tell a friend or a family member that I didn't have the money to do whatever they had invited me to do with them, and the other God forbid was to have to ask them to loan me money, and I had to be desperate to do that. And those guys asking their fans for more and more money, they do it with a smile on their face as if they believed that everybody in their fan base was rich, and they owe it to the program to give, give, give. Why can't they invest the money that has already been give to them and make more with that. They don't bc it's easier for them to keep asking for it!!!!

And I'll bet many are already answering the call not even considering they already have a roster of elite talent.
What they need is new coordinators and to get rid of the retreads. A new OL coach wouldn't hurt either.
